I know he has a right to a fair trial, but I'm sure this goes a long way into helping Julia Dawson's family find a little closure.
Also, I'm sure the Sparta police dept will be happy to finally see some results from all their hard work!

Go to Mlive.com you can read the court documents there. If his friends in Texas read this, please go and read the documents. I know you think he is innocent, but he sounds like a master manipulator to me. His third wife needs to be thankful she is away from this man before it was too late.

He has lied from the beginning....so sure he continued lying all along!

I sat in the court room today, and his lawyer wasn't even there! I can't believe it took that long to get him... but he will go down. Its to bad Julia won't see her children grow up because he decided to take her life. I hope someone takes his

I sat in the court room when he walked in. He didn't seem to care. And his lawyer didnt' show up. I hope someone terminates his life as he did hers. He doesn't deserve the "luxury" of prison.

Let's all hope his lawyer shows up for all the rest of the court hearings... Michigan can't afford all the long drawn out appeals based on incompetent defense attorneys.
But in all honesty, who wants to defend him. Did he have insurance on Julia that he will be spending on attorneys? Or is this another.. we the people pay for an expensive trial.

well i wana know 3 things first where did the belt come from whos belt, second in december until about 8:00 o clock its realy dark out so if this guy did see him why did it take three years for him to come forward or to exactly know without just tryin to help close a case, and third why would anyone use bleach to clean a carpet know one would that is rediculous statement most likely case is a blea ch spill every year insent people are put in jail and know one finds out until most of their life has been taken in captivity. so if it has been three years why only one suspect and these are my thoughts

CHANGE THE SENTENCING GUIDELINES FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE!

This is what happens when you don't do anything! I guess everyone enjoys this, it's the new NORMAL.
Sad, very sad.

P.s. To those who worry about paying for his prison fee's, what do you suggest?

Most of all, WWJD?

After reading all the news stories on this case including the ones after she was reported missing, all the signs point to Tim. A caring husband would help on the searches to locate his missing wife, wouldn't he? Why would he run from Michigan instead of trying to find the real killer, if he did not do it? How could he just pick up and move to Texas, and while being here make himself out to be a victim, wrongfully a suspect, now just alone with his son? And his third wife, why would she carry on a relationship with someone who is a murder suspect? Not only putting herself in danger, but also her son. Billie needs to open her eyes, to all the facts here, he is not innocent.

And to make it even more obvious, if you look into this enough, you find information on his first marriage, in which he was charged with domestic violence, and was the only one present when a 4 month old baby died.

I am sure Tim changed the stories around and made his way into Billie's life taking advantage of someone who obviously lacks security and self confidence to settle for someone who is the ONLY suspect in his wife's murder case!

Billie needs to realize this, this man is not capable of loving another person. People like these have no empathy, no feelings. They do in fact have charming, calculating, manipulative personalities capable of fooling most, And if Tim's childhood was rough, that sucks, but it is too late to fix that. Tim made it too late.

Someone who is close to Billie, help her realize and open her eyes to see the truth, it is everywhere as long as she is willing to accept it. Help Billie not waste her life thinking of and waiting for Tim to come out innocent.

I've had my doubts too. In fact, you can see in previous stories on this case that I've tried to get people to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Having said that, the evidence against him is pretty condemning. If he didn't do it then he's still got some real explaining to do.

What I don't understand is how it takes three-four years to get this sort of evidence. Plain and simple it just DOES NOT. The local police here are either:

1. Incompetent and really took this long to put it together. This is the Sparta PD that originally investigated... They aren't world renowned for being the best police dept around. Quite the opposite.

or

2. They are the biggest liars in the world and are attempting to hash together any sort of half truths and lies that they can to get him behind bars so that they can save face. Prosecutors like having convictions and I wouldn't put it past one to stretch the facts and reach deep in order to convict someone regardless of guilt. Remember, it's essentially the job of a prosecutor to get successful convictions not promote justice. That said, I don't know the local prosecutor handling this and maybe they are a very nice person who really is interested in justice.

Still, all in all, I'm going to have to side with choice 1 above and say that he probably did it but terrible police work and incompetence has let him go for this long.

I am just happy he was bound over for trial. It has been a mess for Julia's family to get through. Not only do they have to deal with this trial, but trying to get their grandson home, where he belongs. Billie was never legally married to Tim. She has no right to Julia's son but slugs it out in court. Tim has a lawyer free and clear (pro bono) who, I am assuming also defends him in the custody suit.
Tammy and Kevin are outstanding people. They love their grandchild and miss their daughter beyond belief. Keep them in your prayers. Thanks.

I have been watching the court calendar... he has been in court several time recently yet the media says nothing... any clue what is going on?

And do you know if there is a trial date set yet?
He was brought back in January it is now 7 months later and no progress has been reported.
