Dear Kids, everyone else, this started with a question about history of DJ, you all came in here and went off topic. I like Sheryl as a mayor and I also think very highly of Mr Talbot and Mr Diehl. they all in my opinion do there job for this village. we all get disappointed with people from time to time, it happens even with the ones we love.dear kids you seem to have such hate and discontent for these 2 guys, but speaking personally they ahve always been nice to me. are you a village resident or do you live somewhere else?

Your right, this did get off topic. All I ask is that the village residents get all the facts (good and bad) before they decide who to vote for.

Dear Kids, others, you all seem to have such energy for your people, have you ever considered putting your energies together, bury the hatchet and work towards unity? This strong discontent you have for each other is not healthy. This should start from the top, but anyone could be the first one to extend the gesture.
Thanks all.

LOL! You people crack me up! Do any of you have real names or list your actual place of residence? What a bunch of back stabbing, two faced, yellow belly, hicksville, cowards! Such strong opinions from people with not enough guts to even list their true identity.

Just wondering why 2 people that don't even live in DJ give a damn about local politics.

Thank Goodness the election is over and there is new leadership in Davis Junction. You talk about a bunch of sore losers.

There was a post about the past mayor being at a couple of loud parties. There were several posts after that slaming the person for posting it. I quess family or friends of the past president. HERE IS A FACT. When the plate on your car reads DJ PREZ it is kind of hard not knowing who is driving the car is it not. AND THAT IS THE TRUTH!......more to come

I imagine the plates on that car have been retired. As the old mayor has a different blue nissan.

Seriously people. I came to this sight to see how people felt about our town. Nope, all I have read is about the politics. Why keep stiring the pot on this subject? If you want to whine about politics go to the village meetings and vent. If you want to talk about our town (good or bad)talk about it. There needs to be NO bashing of our mayor that was clearly wanted because she won. You voted because you wanted the best. So who cares wo she hires. You have to have faith in her and the decissions. I love this town. I have lived here about 2 years and come from Rockford. I enjoy the park events. I have a lot of friends. I dont have to worry about murders, gangs, drugs. That right there is worth loving this town. So stop complainig and start relaxing and enjoying this small town atmosphere. By the way... Just because it's a small town doesnt mean everyone's related. That's a really inmature attitude.

Hi. I am moving to Davis Junction soon. I was looking for some history on Davis Junction. I passed a tiny park called Jeramiah Davis Park. Is this after whom Davis Junction is named? If so, who was he? What did he do ... besides found the town. Any information is welcome. Thank you so much!!
Hi! I used to live in Davis Junction, grew up there from age 2-14; moved out in 1977!!! I sort of keep track of things happening there, but I only know possibly 2-3 people left. It has obviously changed quite a bit since I was there, so perhaps you could let me know what it's like now? Very nostalgic for me!!
