Former Coosa County sheriff arrested on theft and ethics charges

Former Coosa County Sheriff Ricky Lovell Owens of Kellyton has been arrested on charges of theft and violating Alabama's ethics law.

I do not believe this.I know the Sheriff personally and been knowing him for a very long time. This is all political bad blood with him and the current Sheriff.

Wonder if Former Sheriff Owens and the other sheriff Bob Evans have been questioned in the cover up of the 1995 Lay Dam Road murders? I think if the situation of the two being killed and one almost killed was looked into by the proper authorites they would find out there are others involved. Two being the former sheriff and the current sheriff of Etowah County Alabama. Everybody here in Etowah County knows what they both have been involved in over the years.
