I believe (and know) God is real! Too many prayers answered and miricales in my life. It's too late to tell me that God isn't real.

I am not an Atheist nor a Christian, however, I believe in good Karma and found Christians that walk the walk and help others. I like them a lot. It depends on the person claiming to be a Christian. I respect those that are actually Christ-like. I don't like the ones that will claim scriptures just to hurt someone or leave someone out. They are not really Christians. I call them Hitler Christians because he claimed to be Christian also, but there is nothing Christian about treating others like they are subhuman and not worthy of common respect.

I too believe in God. I am a Christian. I don't go to church, but I do pray and worship in my own way. Like others said, it's the person themselves. Some Christians are just big hypocrites that make us legit Christians look bad. I don't do everything a true Christian should do, but I do worship Him and pray, and I KNOW prayer works.

I am neither. Believe in good and evil and the fact there has to be both for the world to be in balance.

Don't believe in god for the wrong reasons. If god has to scare me to bow down to him, I wouldn't even wanna worship the dude if he existed. I mean we all believed there was a Santa clause and the purpose of him was to make children obey their parents, what do u think god is? To me he is a bi-polar city damning, frog raining dude that wants us to bow down to him for the wrong reasons. To me Christianity is a good book, where we should respect it's moral values (not all). God is used as a metaphor.

God doesn't use "scare tacticts". He tells the truth. Some people are scared and don't want to hear the truth...but that will not get a person into Heaven (telling someone what they want to hear). It's your choice. God made angles; creatures to worship Him... He gives us, we as humans a choice to serve or not to serve Him because we have a soul. He loves us all. He is the Creator.:)

It sounds all to much like a brainwash....... Why does he need people to worship him? Do people worship him out of fear or love??? People were raised to love and worship this god....... Is it really love to praise a "higher being" in the fear he can damn you, rain frogs (I thought that was funny) on your head, and truly not give you freedom?? I mean what freedom is it when you don't believe in him, he doesn't care to damn u in hell ... It sounds like he is unfair and unjust, why would you want to be like him?

Also in the early times of catholic an Protestant churches the main goal of the church was to use children as a way of conforming or spreading the word

I worship Him out of love; because He first loved me.:) He doesn't damn anyone to hell...people do that themselves. We all have a choice. He is not an unjust God. He is not the author of confusion...the devil is the author of confusion... and confusion is something evil will play on.

I was raised a baptist, but I've done the research for myself, and have been an Atheist for about 5 years now. I've read the bible many times and I often read bits here and there to this day. I'm happier in my life than I've ever been.
