At least WKU's brass did something right about the football program for a change. They realized that something needed to be done.

All starts with the A.D. He is the one who hires the coach. Wood Selig is horrible.

Wood is about 50% when it comes to hiring coaches. He did great for Track, Baseball, Men's Basketball (Mc Donald), but crappy for Football and Women's Basketball (Shawn Campbell).

The thing that bothers me is the administration lied on several occasions about how the football program was going to be run.

Of course they lied. Has anyone NOT figured out that it is all about Ransdell and his little buddy "Wood?"

Elson is no doubt a di$#head but the entire institution has become a den of corruption. They realized they'd be firing the guy back when they signed him to a six year contract. He walks away with a cool $500,000. Not bad.
