The show was fantastic! It bought back so many memories. The artist would announce the years some songs were released, an example songs released in years of 1967 or 1970. Oh my, I was just a child. You could not help but to smile and think about a time when WVKO was “spinning” the sounds, and how groups piled into the radio station to promote the many shows that were held at the Roller Land Skating rink.
I am so glad artist such as Syl Johnson made it known that he may be old school, but young artists are sampling his music. He has made his mark.
