My neighbor is a pill head drug dealer. He sells his food stamps for money and pills. Sorry but he won't be getting nothing from me. But I do understand your point that you're making. It's kinda hard when there isn't many good people around anymore. Most of the good ones has jobs, work everyday.

Probably because I don't give to others.

I usually with several other people start collecting cans of food and donations about three weeks before Thanksgiving to be distributed to those less fortunate than myself and continue to collect thru about 23 December for Christmas dinner for those less fortunate than myself. I would say we gather somewhere around three pick up loads to be delivered. I have been doing this for 9 yrs. this year. We get the names of the less fortunate from several churches. Hopefully we touch the lives of some of the families in need. You could help by taking just one bag of groceries to a needy family.

So you collect can food but how much do you give yourself it is great to collect but I see to many take credit for what others give in my thoughts the people that drop things off in a box or church and does not look for someone to notice are the real people helping

My name is never mentioned. I do give $100.00 for groceries at Thanksgiving and $100.00 at Christmas for food. I use my own truck and time. The only thing I get out of it is my own personal satisfaction that I have made someones life easier. The credit I receive will hopefully come at the end of my life. I do hope you get some credit too but the way you question my motives I doubt it. You are too big of a doubting Thomas to help anyone. Probably comes from the way you were raised. Anyway, I do hope you have a nice Thanksgiving.
