A last of the breed

In my first Route 66 trips, I noticed on dozens of businesses and billboards in eastern New Mexico the signs ofA a distinctive lettering by a sign painter.

"signs by Rudy" was the name of the company. The painter was named rudy and was from Tucumcari, NM. Don't know if he is still living.
