Teena - No I do not live in Grants but I visited for a while and it did not take long to understand the ignorance that it takes not only to live there, but to live there and do nothing to improve it.

If you disagree that ignorance is the basic problem in Grants, read your own post. No I am not a Mexicant or a Mexican.

You should read more it may even help you to gain a sense of humor.

We live here because we don't have to put up with people like you that whine about nothing to do when it sits in your back yard, and that the town has nothing to offer.

Granted, there are some dilapidated buildings downtown that need help. And we were on the verge of economic recovery until the local pueblos and tribes stuck a knife in our back with their Traditional Cultural Property designation.
Our great neighbors and the Sierra Club etc. are trying to crush the economic life out of the community. But it won't work for long.

We'll fight our own troubles here. Please stay where you are, and don't complain about where you aren't. And in the meantime, mind your own business.

If you were able to BE EDUCATED then you would not have written such a stupid post. SOME buildings are dilapidated???!!! HA HA! Try most of them are. Oh yeah blame it on the Indians that Grants is a shit hole. Your ignorance is what is crushing Grants. GOOD! I hope it implodes. I have to drive through there on I-40 too often for work. I never stop.I have stopped and that is why I write this post. Grants sucks. The people make a town what it is.
