I've been unable to access the Scioto County Recorder's online records for quite some time or I could double check, but I do remember seeing a mortgage deed for $30,000 several months ago. I don't recall which bank loaned the money.

I'll try again to access that website. I have pdf files of most of the relevant deeds in Pike County and I'd like to download the ones in Scioto County.

I found an updated hyperlink for the recorder's office. https://oh3laredo.fidlar.com/OHScioto/AvaWeb/

There was a five year mortgage for $30,000 dated March 18, 2016. National Bank of Adams County was the lender.

So the property at 2920 Union Rd. 2 acres CRsr out out paid for and had a clear deed? But,was conjoined to the property at 3122 Union Rd 6 acres that had a mortgage ha got the 30,000 loan for? What property was the home on? Do you know know the break down on how much each property was? Thank you.

You're correct that the mortgage covered all 8 acres. Dana's home was on the 6 acre tract @ 3122. The older wooden barn sits on the 2 acres. There was another mobile home on the 2 acre tract that had been removed a few years earlier.

On August 15, 1995 Geneva conveyed her 1/2 interest in the UHR property to Clarence. The deed (D.B. 49 Pg. 147) transferred ownership of four individual tracts totaling 5.10 acres. At the time the couple owned no other lands.

Below is some of the verbiage from that deed which mentions previous owners/transfers of each tract:

PARCEL I containing 2 & 1/2 acres
being part of the 5 acre tract of land conveyed by Roy Farmer to this grantor and recorded 2/25/1952 D.B. 106 Pg. 265
(Note: I don't know exactly who is 'this grantor' but it would be an owner sometime between 1952 & 1995)

PARCEL II containing 1 & 1/4 acres
being the western one half of a 2 1/2 acre tract of land conveyed by Andrew Farmer to Donald Ward and Ruby Jordan on 6/28/1963 D.B. 153 Pg. 296. Being the premises conveyed to Wilbert DeBord and Edith DeBord to David Morgensen, Sr., et al deed dated 3/27/1972 D.B. 177 Pg. 397. Being part ot the premises conveyed to Eldah Maxine Gorman by Wilbert DeBord, et al by deed dated 12/5/1973 D.B. 182 Pg. 359.

PARCEL III containing 2 & 1/2 acres (excepting 1 & 1/4 acres conveyed to Stanley Ward, et al by deed dated 7/27/1963 D.B. 155 Pg. 439)
being part of the 5 acre tract conveyed by Roy Farmer to Andrew Farmer recorded 2/25/1952 D.B. 106 Pg. 265. Being part of the premises conveyed to Ruby Jordan Ward by Raymond E.
