If this happened in the city, and RPD spokesperson would say that it's a pretty safe area, and people should know better than to stand in line holding $230 in cash apiece, to buy dumbass sneakers. I say once school restarts they should hold these sneaker sales down at the liberty pole daily to thin the herd.

Something tells me there is more to this story. http://www.13wham.com/news/local/story/Man-Sh...

I doubt it was over sneakers. It really does bother me to see how certain media outlets are pawns to the RPD. More information needs to be released. Have some faith, most people are "good".

The City police are already on to the next crime. Investigation over. Its a production line of crime/murder. They just keep comming. Air Jordan anyone? You can run faster from the bullets. They are worth $500.

More to the story? They were thugs who robbed people standing in line and this young man fought back and was murdered in cold blood. No value for life whatsoever. Scum, murdering thugs take the life of a young man who was working and getting an education. It disgusts me.
I don't really care when the thugs kill other thugs...but this young man was not a thug. It sickens me.

The "media" is sending out inaccurate/incomplete information. And then, instead of editing it and saying that the information provided prior was in error, they re-write it and pretend or hope that no one saw the original story. Get real. We need some real reporters in Rochester, not just a bunch of gullible youngsters with pretty faces.

I doubt any "thug" with a white Mercedes felt it necessary to rob someone at a shoe store.

It does not matter what happened. Its just another murder of many. The RPD will never follow up and will move on to the next one tonight or tomorrow. I can tell you there will be a few more over the long weekend to keep the RPD busy. Its the Energizer Bunny Murder town. Its just goes on and on and on and on. Never ending murder and violence. The RPD is useless. They now just take reports. Solve nothing. Crime is out of control in the city. The welfare system does not works. Generations of blacks that are not wanted by parents just roaming the streets getting into trouble in gangs. 70 drop out of school and live off the system in jails or welfare. Stop the welfare. Stop the insanity. Stop the blacks having kids for a larger welfare check. Then we need larger prisons, legal system and police to control the out of control situation that is never ending. NYS can no longer afford it.
Why would RPD do any follow up on a Gates murder investigation ? oh sorry, you just don't know what your talking about.....SHOCKING !!!!

13wham has "raw video" of the police chase, where they video tape one hundred officers on one suspect and a fat city cop runs over the the 13 camera man and stops him from recording, sort like the Emily Good situation.

Plus I can't understand with a hundred cops chasing them how could one of the suspects bail out of the car and get away??? Maybe the RPD needs to start requiring their fat out of shape cops to take annual fitness tests.

The only "follow up" that the RPD does is after they are told that there is no more doughnuts and more should be made and ready in about 30 minutes.

This is very sad thing to happen. However this is where certain members of society are putting their values! Putting values on a pair of sneakers and wanting them so much you are online outside of a store in the middle of the night. How sad!

The knee grows were probably busty stashing their 'stash' with all the 5-0's out front. I counted at least 10 cop cars.

Did you see the 13wham video where the city cops stops 13 from recording, and then it looks like one of the city cops has his own person camera out taking pictures of the action???

These were city folks. They came from the city and the RPD were helping gates track them down in the city where they came from. After 8 hours the RPD and Gates tracked them down in the city. The city!!! Not Gates. There was a chase in the city. The City. One suspect was caught on North Clinton Avenue in the city after RPD laid down spikes to deflate the carís tires. The chief said the other man bailed out of the car in the city at some point in the chase and is MIA. RPD was involved and investigating with Gates and still searching in the city. You are shocking. You are clueless.
. So what you idiot, the crime occurred in Gates therefore it's a Gates PD investigation. Just because the city helped doesn't make it theirs. The only thing RPD officers would do is complete an investigative action report on what they saw and did PERIOD. Just because a suspect is apprehended in the city doesn't make it an RPD case. WOW, the haters just keep getting dumber and dumber.

I don't need to watch the video you idiot. There is a thing called JURISDICTION in the NYS Criminal Procedure Law, look it up and you might get a clue what the hell I'm talking about, that's assuming you can read.

The CRIME happen in GATES, it goes down as a homicide in GATES and the case stays in GATES. The RPD won't do a follow up investigation to a GATES homicide you moron. They can arrest a suspect involved in the case but just because they do that doesn't make it the RPD case . God how can you be so stupid, your outclassed here so don't even try to rebutt the facts you idiot.
