Chicago needs a resolution for the New Year: ending gang violence in the Windy City. The hometown of President Barack Obama just reached its 500th murder of the year under the leadership of Mayor Rahm Emanuel, a new record. Chicago has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country.

"Chicago has some of the strictest gun control laws in the country."

Hmmm

How could this be, could it be when you outlaw guns only outlaws have them?

The average shooting victim cost Chicago tax payers (people who work)$55,000 each

Now if the average Chicago thug shoots half as bad as Rochesters thugs thats probably about 3 to 4 thousand leg, arm, torso shots that still cost the tax payers (people who work)an average of $55,000 each But not figured into the 500 head count as they are the cheap ones.

If those killings are "good work", what do you call those murders in Connecticut and Webster?

Shooting between thugs, gang members, etc. are different than innocent people being killed like children and firefighters.

I find it very disturbing that you ask that question...

But I wouldn't call it good work when they are murdered, but on the other hand, that is what they attempt to achieve. They are out there on the street, engaged in illegal activity and they know what the outcome is going to be. They know that the only life for them is either death or prison. It's sad they think this way, but I blame their parents and their upbringing.

I also find it disturbing that the journalist Roland Martin asked why teddy bears and flowers were not sent to Nathaniel Jackson - murder victim in Chicago like they were for CT... Really Roland? Go for it, starting send gifts to every murder like that across America. I personally would prefer that you start paying for the ambulance and ER bills for these people that like to play gunfights on the streets because frankly, I'm sick of supporting their bills.
