How come it seems impossible to talk to someone at this "organization"? How is it that they can immediately suspend your UI benefits because you missed an "Orientation" meeting??? Who the HELL is Rochester Works??? I'm about ready to call News 10 to start an investigation. I spent an hour calling, and could not reach any one there to answer any of my questions. I did learn they do not work on Fridays though. Must be nice... Our tax dollars at work.

Notice the web address ends in .org, not .gov. Is Rochester Works truly a volunteer organization trying to help displaced workers while receiving funds from the State, or are they the State? Again, who is this organization. I could not believe when I tried to call them, the messages I heard. They sure sound like a Government agency.

I'm not unemployed. I do not live in Cambridge. I don't have the time or patience to explain. If you are interested, ask Rochester Works to send you for IT training - then you will learn. It's not a trick. What has been your experience with them so far? You seem to know. What have they done for you?
