WRONG STUPID, when you get a degree in criminal justice let me know. Then you will see how really stupid you are. Im not gonna go into details but why dont you go online and research the criminal procedure law. Then you will prove yourself WRONG.
Oh and by the way, the border patrol didnt make any arrests in this case, so why you brought jurisdictional arrest limits is beyond me. I guess so you can be a bigger dope.
Until then stick to things you actually know like welfare, making babies and scamming the government.
You were the one that said it was ok for the bp to be involved with this type of crime cause they are law enforcement and have "arrest powers". So why you are now backing away from that statement is beyond me.

Where this occurred and what was occurring, the Border Patrol had the same "Arrest Power" as your local Mall Security Guard.

What are you babbling about now you retard. The border patrol contacted the local law enforcement agency to respond to the location. Is the border patrol going to land the helicopter in the back yard and make the arrest....YOU IDIOT. Did you ever hear of policy and procedures or general orders. Take the state police for example. They have an agreement with the towns and the city to patrol the interstate. In that agreement it states that if a CRIME occurs on the interstate then the local law enforcement agency will take over the investigation and not the state police. You didn't know that did you dummy.

Like I said start with the criminal procedure law and then maybe then you might have a tiny grasp of reality. So far you are talking out your azz.

Did you ever hear of policy and procedures or general orders??

Where in the Border Patrol Procedures or General Orders does it talk about searching private land via a helicopter over 50 miles away from the border and how to handle a situation after seeing American Citizens running to a SUV??

See this is where you get stupid. The Border Patrol was flying a helicopter and returning to base. They spotted a marijuana crop by total accident. There was no search involved, they had no mission to go find marijuana crops, it was by pure accident. The landowner has NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY, look that up will ya, you might learn something. The crop was out in the open, it's called PLAIN VIEW....Look that up too, you might learn something.

Your 50 mile arrest policy doesn't hold any weight because they didn't arrest anyone, so there goes that theory of yours. Secondly, do you know what flight path and mission they were doing that day....HELL NO, so please just shut your sewer already.

They did exactly what they should have, called the local authorities to handle the situation. I think your just mad because they got your stash of marijuana from your supplier.

You just prove my point, you dont know where they were coming from or what they were doing. You just assume they were doing something thats not in their job title, thats called being ignorant.

What does a Walmart cashier have to do with this besides nothing. You are just never happy.

The Border Patrol has to follow up on people who do enter this country legally but stay longer than they are supposed to. They are the ones who track these people down. They do not turn it over to the local LE. They also look into complaints of groups of possible illegal workers. They can work anywhere in the country then need to. They also do not just stay on the waterline of the country. They patrol as far as the Thruway (On a normal basis) but can still go anywhere then need to, to enforce the law.

Not every single illegal is caught AT our borders. Some make it through; these 'inland' folks track them down and pick them up, wherever they are residing.
Who's to say they don't catch a flight from outside our borders to somewhere more 'inland'??

Think a lil.:)
