I do feel sad for the children that do behave themselves and enjoy going to SeaBreeze. These kids should be rewarded. If they want to get angry at anyone, they should be angry at their peers who act up, misbehave, and run around like a bunch of hooligans and thugs.
There were far too many instances of kids who just wouldn't behave themselves and ruined the fun for everyone. Vargas had to do this.
As for the China/Russia comments, both of those countries have strong undercurrents of communism and socialism. The Communist Party runs China with an iron fist and Russia is basically a dictatorship under Putin. You simply can't run a business in either of those countries without the government's backing.
China's industries are almost all run by the government, there is very little private ownership. Any private ownership relies on having allies in the Communist government. Try speaking out against Jintao or Putin publicly and see where that gets you (hint: long jail sentences).
The Chinese and Russian governments are willing to throw money around to make themselves world powers and they demand results or else. No slacking is allowed.
The problem with the American people is that too many people are fine with living off the government. We've made it attractive for them to be unproductive citizens.
You're 19 years old with two kids already and you're pregnant with a third? Instead of saying "tough luck, get a job" we just throw more welfare money at them. Your back "hurts" and you can't work? Well, just go on disability and get a monthly check.
Why work minimum wage with no benefits when you can get welfare/disability/etc. and get monthly checks, free health care, free child care, Foodlink, EBT, etc.
China and Russia are a hybrid of communist/socialist/capitalist , but they have citizens who don't mind working hard to get ahead. Same with many other countries.
We've lost that here in the U.S.
