Gabrielle Giffords fires gun for first time since 2011 shooting
Former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was back on the shooting range Monday for the first time since she was shot in the head by Jared Loughner in 2011. The visit was the first part of a tour to push stalled legislation on background checks for gun purchases.
Giffords, wearing a green sweater and glasses, along with a brace on one of her arms, fired a black handgun as her husband looked on.
She smiled and pumped her fist afterward, footage from ABC News shows.
