Why hasn't the survelliance video the police took from across the street from the accident been released? The film from the La Latino Restaurante survelliance cameras that captured car crash yesterday on Chili Avenue has been released.

I think it's a crime for the media to not report the boy was hit while in the parking lane.

The media are as guilty as the cops for making this incident perfectly OK, when it clearly was NOT.

Just call Rivera shooting the cop, the media reported there was a 911 call when there was not, and they could have easily found out if they didn't know the truth.

Everytime i find myself out in the burbs, I recall seeing white kids riding their biks in the road and they are wearing their mp3's.
Do you think if the Sheriffs or State Police were responding to a call that they would slow down near the kids on bikes?? I do.

The RPD are guilty of driving like maniacs.
The don't even slow down when going through red lights, they just feel as long as their lights are on they don't have to worry about anyone or anything.

SO it's the fault of the Government that these people won't go to school, stop smoking and drinking all day, stop having children by various people, learn a trade and get a job. Shame on you Government for providing the lazy ones with an easy way through life.

First of all, how the hell do you know he was a gangster? I have pictures of my self when I was younger doing the west side sign...does that make me one too? I lived in the west side of Rochester and that's why I would do it, and yes maybe is not cool now but back then to me it was. You don't know anything about this boy's life so don't even go there cause that's making you look stereotypical.
Second, I have lived in this city since I was 10 years old and until I got my driver's permit at 16 I didn't know that I have to pull over to the side of the road when sirens were on (especially if I was on a bike). If I didn't know that maybe he didn't either.
Third, How is it my fault that I am Hispanic and that I am more likely to get targeted by the police because of my language and the color of my skin?. I am a hard working individual who works two jobs and goes to school trying to get the hell out of here before a cop decides to take my life because he is driving like a maniac. Yes, he was driving like a maniac like they all do every single day ( I KNOW I DRIVE AROUND HERE ALL DAY EVERY DAY). So don't tell me this city is the way it is because of me and my neighbors. It is the way it is because of poverty, racism and the carelessness of this racist government.

So police officers get paid to drive around like maniacs, stopping people asking for ID when they are just walking to the store and to hit anybody that gets in their way? Now that's scary.
NOT ALL city residents are thieves, rapists or murderers (Again stereotype) there's actually people here that work, go to school and are trying to have a better life.
And you people always think you know about what goes on in my life...What do you know about my talents? Seriously. I am not going to get into details of what I do but I am going to tell you that even though I am a city resident, Hispanic, living in one of the poorest neighborhoods in Rochester I do work two jobs and go to one of Rochester's prestigious universities that maybe you couldn't get into when you was younger. So do me a favor let's keep the conversation within the subject and let's not get into my very successful life.
Why would someone so "successful" want to live in one of the poorest neighborhoods in this city?

Because they were born there? They like the area. Their friends live there. It's close to everything. They like it there. They don't like wasting money and it's cheaper to live there. They own several rental properties there and want to keep an eye on them.
Maybe for employment, like how Duffy had to move into the City to become the Mayor and the Police Chief.

Any more stupid questions??

I live here because I have no choice. Since I no longer qualify for grants and scholarships I have to pay my way through grad school out of my own pocket. I have to pay tuition, books, mortgage, car insurance, R&GE, taxes, etc.

Unlike you people, I don't expect my parent's to pay for my education.
