When you can't accomplish your own mission, it's always nice to hang with someone who can.

No one could do what Jason McElwain accomplished!
WELL DONE JASON! It has to one of the neatest feats I have ever seen! Outstanding! President Bush would not be the only one who would be proud to meet you! Where do I sign up?

I have two brothers with severe autism, so this is like a hero story for my family. I'm proud of Jason for haveing the courage to be who he is and accomplish what he's done. It's not easy to do.

Drummer: I can see you are there for you brothers, too.
There are many kinds of courage, you just demonstrated that. With your support, they may also accomplish great things. Not necessarily athletic. Any accomplishment is a big one!

I like this story...seems like it would make a good move someday. I hope the kid continues in his life well, and does let this 15 minute of fame he is getting make him soft and failure prone.

It was bound to happen:

Columbia acquires life rights to Jason McElway's story.

Sometimes...the cynicsm of business ruins threatens to ruin what is a wonderful story.
