Rge is really bad, service suck,over price. They are nothing good about them. Managements,customers service are terrible, theirs policy don't give the f--- about you,when you have ploblems with them, they just want to f--- you and no help, theirs stone wall f------ policy that all you will get.i hope the government shelves them in their a-- ho--.they don't want and know how to be nice to theirs over 20 years customer , it's really sad that everybody have to live with this sh--.!!!!!

did anyone ever look at the delivery charge on your bill? mine is always more than my usage, RG&E will always rape you, they are scum!!!

You know, I was supposably in collections for a bill that was $106. The same bill in which i tried to pay at rg&e but they said it was late? When it was due the next day. Then when I tried calling the collection agency, maaaaaaaannnnn. I said I have the $$ I can pay it now! She said no, it slaready in our system to be taken out your bank, we get into 3xs to take it out, if it's not in there than you can give us a call back. I asked well when is the next withdrawn, she said we don't actually know, just keep $105 In your account all the time 😑

Do Not make it easy for RGE to make your life Hell. Complain and take advantage of the services that our taxes pay for to regulate these bastards.

They can help with disputes, and advocate for RGE to work with you within reason. They can also buy you time and lets face it when they want both your arm and your friggin leg ...you just need a little more time. You can fill an online form, call or write. But don't make it easy for them to screw with you.

I am getting ripped off by RG&E I have put in new windows and some doors. I am at adequately insulated. one person over 60 years old work during the day I have no air conditioning hot water baseboard heat newer appliances newer hot water tank I was billed over $300 a month 3 months in a row in the summer I'm mostly do microwave cooking is I am alone. at night I sit with one light and one TV on. I requested a put their meters on the outside of the house then for me that would cost me 3000 hours I said their your meters. I got nowhere.they're asking me to read the meters I said that your job I got FLAC...I deliberately had a third person read my meter call it in. We've been having mild weather I got a $284 bill I paid it under protest and asked for a refund if they were over billing me. I had another person read the meter and send it in via computer. I just received a bill in today's mail when it is in the 50's for $787.38 I am massively getting ripped off there is no way this kind of usage is going on here. I want to know what can be done what agency I can turn them into it I am getting ripped off I even asked if the meter was bad last year they came out and are claiming their meter is fine they're also telling me that had no meter read for 38 months they send out an outline his bed and read twice in the last 4 months not to mention last year when they came out to the house help anybody have a way of doing something about this61 year old single female

RGE does not make any money off the supply of gas or electrcity in the first place. The only profit is in the service AKA delivery. They didn't lose a nickl when you choose another supplier so they have no reason to treat you differently.

Rgls the gas nd elecic at cost. There is no profit in the supply portion of the bill. Yes, by comparison the supply is cheaper than the delivery. This is for a couple of reasons. First, RGE has gotten one raise in delivery since 1994. The costs of fuel, copper, equipment, and manpower have increased dramatically. The cost of the electric and gas has fallen by a great deal. That same kilowatt of electric you would have paid 10.4 cents for back on the fixed rate in 2007 is now hovering around 3.5 cents. The gas as well. In 2007 or 2006 you may have paid as much as $1.45/therm and now it is about 35 cents. The delivery rates have only slightly increased the supply is cheaper than it has been in years.
