I've seen people standing on snow banks 3 feet high waiting for the bus, then having to either step down into the slush or try to jump into the bus.
It would suck to be waiting for a bus a few yards from the stop due to snow and the bus wont stop even if you flag it down.
Why not make non-violent prisoners at the county lockup clear the bus stops? For every full day they go out to shovel, they get 2 days taken off their sentence. Pay back to the community for your crime rather than sit around watching TV and playing cards.
Or make probation have those on community service do it.
and those on welfare too. They have a WEP program where you work for your welfare. Drive em around to shovel out snow.

How many actually work for their welfare? This should be interesting...

That my dear would include to much work for the jail deputies that prefer to just sit around watching TV and playing cards.

And why are you worried about the buses anyways, only black city residents have to use the buses.

Also, ever thing maybe the RTS should have employees shovel out the bus stops just as retail stores shovel out their parking lots and front doors for their customers???
