How long did it take from the time the firemen were shot till the time they were recovered???

Hours. It was an active shooting scene. They had to make sure no other shooters were laying in wait also, or any boobytraps. Evacuate and search neighbors out of the area. Then photograph the scene and collect evidence. They were killed right then. The firefighter who was injured and pinned down under the truck repeatedly told dispatch that they hadn't moved since being shot (probably meaning they died instantly or moments after being hit).
It took awhile for them to recover the fireman who was pinned down.
It took enough time for the fire to spread from one house to 7, before firemen were allowed to go in and contain it.

Well I think that suks.
It shouldn't take hours to get to a shot person to get him to the hospital.
I'm very disappointed in the police response.
We give them all they need to do their job and they take hours to do it????
How come the police always allow stand offs in the burbs, but in the city they just charge the house??
