They are all afraid of the black school kids waiting for buses on Main Street.
You can call it fear if you want but it's more common sense than anything. Nobody wants to be inconvenienced and nobody wants to be in the center of a large group of people who cannot act civilized. About thirty years ago, I found myself in the unfortunate situation of needing to take public transportation to work in the morning. On one day, I had hopped on a bus that was filled with these kids and their behavior was atrocious. There was foul language, horsing around, pushing, shoving, screaming, and fighting. There was no fear, just disgust that humans could behave this way in society. The people that were actually going to a job were made uncomfortable and were inconvenienced. You cannot make excuses for this behavior and you cannot call these kids civilized. That was 30 years ago and I can only imagine how much worse it has got since then.

Sorry to ruin your high, but I am not nickbo. When was I bickering? I was only replying to your post, like any normal person would reply to a post. Do you know what the word "bicker" means?

Rhonda and the rest of her "crew" believe this is normal and acceptable behavior. It,s the culture they were brought up in, live in and strive every day to make worse by their own actions.

Next time I'm going to give them a piece of my mind.
A black city resident accused of killing another black city resident should not be judged by a jury of 12 whites from the burbs.
It's not fair to the accused or the victim.
Of course it is VERY fair to the victim. Becuz an all-white jury will convict the Cullerd killer.

Dear, In America, you have every right to try and make that happen. Will you? Godspeed.

I don't care what color you are when you sit on the jury as long as you are fair and use the law as your guide for either a conviction or acquittal. If the evidence supports the crime then convict if not then you have to let them go.

You want to sit on a jury just to play the race card for a conviction of a white person, you don't care if they are innocent you just want revenge for your made up racist jury.

If a white kills a white, it's murder, and it's against the law. It doesn't matter if the jury is all white or all black, murder is murder. It's not like the Simpson trial where a black lilled 2 whites and the jury was mostly white, and the black murderer got off, scott (no pun intended) free.

See there you go being wrong again, you better look presumptive challenges. Actually the defendant can boot someone off a potential jury. Oh and it's not always a public defender either, there you go with "I can't afford an attorney because I'm black". You have a lot to learn about the criminal justice system. And by the way, guess what race doesn't even show up when selected for jury duty, you got it, BLACK.

Why is the black jury pool so low

A 2011 study by the Office of Court Research found that blacks are not responding to many qualification questionnaires meaning fewer can serve as jurors.

Well if you don't respond then don't bitch.

SECONDLY,

"These higher non-response and undeliverable rates lead to a qualified jury pool in Monroe County that is 9% black rather than 12% as predicted by census estimates. The percentage of blacks appearing for jury service is further reduced to 7.3%, largely as a result of excusals from service."

pitiful numbers there TURD, and when they do get picked they ask to be excused. Sounds like nothing more than a crutch.

City Council members Adam McFadden, Lovely Warren, Pastor Brian White are among the group of government and community leaders recruited by the court system to spread the message of jury service in the black community.

Leaders are passing out forms so that prospective jurors can volunteer.

HOLY CRAP..........YOU CAN VOLUNTEER, WHAT A GREAT IDEA.

Now TURD stop with the excuses already. If you don't show, then there is obviously less blacks to pick from from the get go.

KEEP TRYING TURD....YOU LOOK STUPID IN THE EYES OF THE WORLD TODAY, WELL....EVERYDAY.

Crotchety defends her racism regardless of whether she is wrong. Which she typically is. If you don't show up, you won't get picked. Period. Another ridiculous argument started by a very ignorant person. Our very own Crotchety. The race baiting pathological liar.

You couldn't get 12 qualified city blacks to show up for jury duty in a County Court case.

Wrong. Its a jury of your peers, no "qualifications" needed or none are suppose to be required.
Why would you even be so stupid to even try to fight a losing battle. Bottom line, blacks don't fill out the questionnaire, very few if any volunteer for jury duty. So instead of pissing and moaning on here maybe you should get with McFadden and help him get more qualified jurors.

and by the way:

Submit Your Juror Qualification Questionnaire

If you have received a Qualification Questionnaire you can submit your answers using this online system.

So there is a qualification you must go through, it's a very lower standard qualification that even you can pass....LMAO

It's not a big deal, go outside and go door to door and get your "PEERS" to sign up for jury duty. You won't do it, you would rather be on here sounding like a complete jacka** and call the system racial because your "PEERS" don't show up or sign up or volunteer for jury duty. And because you don't get picked, all of a sudden the jury system is discriminating against you. I have had jury duty several times and there are times I never got picked, so do I file a complaint now and say they discriminated against me. Do you have any idea how stupid you sound.

Wrong, if it is a criminal case let's say involving robbery or assault- the first thing they ask is if you've ever been convicted of the crime being charged for the case. Well over half of the black jury pool would have to be excused.

The Jury system is flawed. They require you to be available for 5 days, you must call in each day several times that day. I believe I was given number 5 hundred something.

They never made it past 300. Then, IF your number gets called, you then have to hope you are selected to be on the jury.

Unfortunately, since I my number was not picked, I was relieved of my "duty". I guess my opportunity was missed.

This system is seriously flawed!
