Rochester man wounded in shooting on Thurston Road

A 36-year-old Rochester man was shot and injured on Thurston Road shortly before 2:40 a.m. Saturday, Rochester police said.
Lt. Laura Grande of the Rochester Police Department said that the man was shot in the torso near 360 Thurston Road, on the citys west side. He was driven by private vehicle to Strong Memorial Hospital where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The injured mans name was not released by police.
Grande said the shooting remains under investigation.
