I'm really sick of outsiders coming in and closing down our city streets.
We live here, we don't want our streets closed down for anything, nevermind from all you outsiders.
Enough of all you white suburban drunk Irish having a parade while I'm trying to get to the store.
Enough of all you white suburban white wearing tight gayish spandex in you bike races.
Enough of this movie getting taxt breaks and welfare money to close down our streets.

Close down your own streets in the suburbs and leave our city alone.

Tax breaks are not welfare you moron especaily when it is to encourage someoje from out of state to spend more money than thhey are receiving in those breaks.Welfare is for those who pay nothing for everything , tax braks are for those who pay your welfare.Welfare encourages you not to work or become a producer, tax breaks encourage you to work and be productive.

Collecting some tax money that adss up to whole lot is better than collecting no tax money that adds up to nothing.Especailly when it is out of state dollars influxing the area and not local money just being recirculated.

Anytime I pay money that goes to someone else or anytime I have to pay more money to cover someone else, IT'S WELFARE.
They should actually make a new and nasty word for it, cause it is a lot more money then all the people on the EBT card get.

You don't pay anymoney for tax breaks you ahole it is money that they don't have to pay.Like I said the tax breaks are bringin in money from out of state puttting more money into the area. That helps you and lowers our tax burden.Use your brain.

Maybe because the Eastend fest only helps a bunch of local rich people get richer while the city has to foot the bill for the cleanup with your money. While closeing down Main street fof this movie puts money into the city pot while they are responsable for cleanup and damages that ensue wich helps create revenue that is much needed.

There ain't no dodging here.

The city of Rochester or the state of NY will NOT beneficent from this movie, instead it will cost both money.

Plus it's MY thread, so don't tell me I'm dodging my own thread.

For movies alone being made in NY, we all have to flip the bill for $420 million for them, that they could afford to pay.

Not to mention closing down main street and others, the cost of extra police on overtime, and clean up, the loss of money for the city to have this is just plain silly.

And why close down streets for a movie and not the east end fest? Do we have favorites that we not only give special rules to but we also pay them instead of asking to get paid??

I have a problem with private companies and their "Entitlements". Funny how you white republicans only consider city blacks as being the ones that feel entitled.
And will this movie company be making any donations to the "Fat White Guy for Mayor" campaign?

You make valid points. People really need to hear you on this, I see where you are coming from. They will rather jump to the defensive rather than listening.
