A former Catholic priest in Connecticut has been busted for selling methamphetamine — and could spend the rest of his earthly life in jail, authorities say.
Federal prosecutors say Kevin Wallin, 61, former pastor at St. Augustine’s Parish in Bridgeport, took part in a cross-country drug ring that shipped meth between Connecticut and California.
Wallin, of downtrodden Waterbury, Conn., was one of five people indicted Tuesday after he sold the highly-addictive drug to an undercover officer six times since last September, cops said.
Wallin resigned as St. Augustine’s pastor in June 2011 after nine years, citing health and personal issues. His facilities for public ministry were suspended in May 2012, the Diocese of Bridgeport said
