Yeah, it all a huge conspiracy.

May I suggest that you alert the local news outlets to the impending anniversary. I'm sure they are concentrating on other stuff, like how to get Scott Hesko off of crack. You're welcome.

They only cover white anniversaries.
I bet you will not see the news covering the 6th yr anniversary of Armand Reynold in a couple of weeks, as they never covered any of his.
Seriously,
You should consider starting your own thread of unreported stories.
You can ensure that there is no bias, and possibly show the other news outlets how it's done.
Make a web cast.

If you don't like the way something is done, do it your way.

Ben Swan started his own web cast covering news that the other media outlets wouldn't.
Now he has his own show and makes appearences on other news outlets.

You often have a good point about the bias, sometimes you go too far.

Either way, you might find a following other than here.

You have a following of, like maybe, two or three readers. Of course, they all rate the story as 'no interest'(as usual).

It is not wrong when a family CONTACTS a news crew to let them know of an upcoming event. So each and every one of you has the right to do so if you choose to. Stop making it a black/white issue - it only shows your ignorance.

Sadly there is a difference between soldiers who are killed and those that save FIVE lives before they are killed. But you all just go ahead and hate on a young man that deserves better.

Just saying "Ha Ha" that when you call and tell a news crew about an upcoming event, they will usually cover that event.

I am not getting into a race war with you on this one. Too important to a lot of people.
