I am applaud that the media would even ponder the notion of interviewing a minor on the same day as tragic death of his father!

Agree with Tim, Jenn, and Shannon. It's amazing to see how hungry people seem to be for "heroes". Joshua calls his father a hero. Perhaps his actions following the "accident" were selfless, but what led up to this tragedy was not heroic behavior.

A police officer was quoted that the tires on the car were nearly worn out summer tires. Is it heroic for a father to drive on icy roads with his precious kids aboard with such tires?

And at a speed sufficient to carry the car off the road into a pond if control of the vehicle is lost? The many accidents the past couple days should serve as a reminder that winter driving is a skill we should all practice. Slow down to sane speeds when roads are slick.

The family members that led him to the media are the same family members who spent time with the media in their living room rambling on instead of planning their sons funeral. Media first, then funeral arrangements. Makes sense to me.

How is Dylan? One of my friends helped perform CPR on him and I was just wondering how he was? The last I knew he was still unresponsive.
