Trigger Happy Policing

An unarmed North Carolina man who was shot and killed by police while running toward an officer may have only been seeking help after surviving a car crash.
Jonathan A. Ferrell, 24, was shot multiple times when authorities say he surprised a trio of police officers with Charlotte-Mecklenburg police department by running toward them around 2 a.m. Saturday.
Officer Randall Kerrick, 27, reacted by firing his weapon with "excessive" and "unlawful" force, his department now believes, killing the former Florida A&M University football player who recently moved to the area.
"The evidence revealed that Mr. Ferrell did advance on Officer Kerrick and the investigation showed that the subsequent shooting of Mr. Ferrell was excessive," police said in a statement issued late Saturday. "Our investigation has shown that Officer Kerrick did not have a lawful right to discharge his weapon during this encounter."
The two-year police veteran, who joined the force in April 2011, the Charlotte Observer reports, is currently in police custody.

His law enforcement days are over.
I'm sure he did not "charge" at them, but was running toward them for help. Don't believe for one minute other officer dispatched his taser and missed----just another angle to make it sound good.
Scared boys should not be on the police force.

The only way to stop the police from indiscriminately shooting the innocent, is to put them in jail for murder every time it happens.

The shoot was only charged with MANSLAUGHTER?!?!
This is MURDER! and the cop should be put away to serve as a warning to other cops.
Where is all that academy training that is supposed to help prevent killing an innocent?!~?

In Rochester the police should just stand back and let the hood self destruct of it's own doing. Protect the surrounding areas where people respect and obey the law and we will all be better off.

The cop (Officer Randall Kerrick) fired 12 rounds, 10 hitting the man, and he is only charged with voluntary manslaughter?!?
Put this trigger happy badge terrorist in jail for the rest of his life!!!
Send his terrorist A$$ to GITMO!

Here's another great story.
A prisoner on death row commits suicide ... and the guards LIED on their reports that they were doing their rounds every half hour.
The only reason these guards got caught is because this loser killed himself.
These government losers get paid a lot of taxpayer's dollars to do their job, and they pencil whip it.
These guards were probably off getting blow-jobs from the gay inmates.

remember that cop that fired into a crowd in times square and hit two bystanders ... well here is video of a few years ago where they did the same thing, and hit 9 people.
Why do people put up with this stuff?
They only shot 12 people in the Boston massacre in 1776, and the people were all for lynching the British who oppressed them!!!
