If the RPD was working a "burglary detail", why didn't they see them doing a burglary??
Why not watch them and arrest them on bigger charges?????
For what reason did RPD have to search these guys??

Maybe instead of having a "burglary detail", they should just stop and search all black men that are out at 2am??

They do it just to piss you off Rhondude. me personally, I like seeing their ugly mugs, so that way I'll know when to stay closer to my shotgun when I see them coming.

I can't wait till after the Holiday season, when I can get the night vision cameras that I wanted with DVR. Then it's on. Whomever doesn't heed warning to the no tresspassing sign or the beware of dog sign, get's lit up by Sabot rounds. Then they can come back as ghosts and explain it to the medical examiners.

Slice, you are like the only one who is out at that time of the morning doing "legal" work.

You know that the majority (95 percent) of the people out walking the city streets at 2am are either gonna be suspects and the other 5 percent are just too damn stupid, and will be victims.

How are they investigating if they already stopped the guys for doing nothing but walking down the street???
If they didn't see them do it, it didn't happen.

Because a building just 2 blocks away from where they were stopped had copper pipes taken out the same night and water filling the basement. They just need to prove the copper came from that location - then they can charge them with burglary, destruction of property, malice, possesion of stolen property, etc,

How long before city animals start stealing PVC pipes too?

What if someone else stole the pipes and left them in the street and these guys got them from the street???
Even if the RPD can prove the pipes came from a place, doesn prove these guys stole them.

Maybe these property owners have to be more responsible for this happening?? Like this property has always had a security system and/or a security guard on the property, so why not now??? ANd if they were doing that much work on the building, why did they even leave the water on???
It's also like the gas leaks we have in some houses after pipes are stolen, why aren't home owners and RG&E held responsible if they left the house vacant and unattended it's not hard to image something like this from happening.

I'm sure it's a complete coincidence that they had hacksaws, pipe citters, a ladder, and a sawzall. When asked what they were doing, I'm sure they said it was their aunt's birthday and they were just on the way to her house, to give her the tools for a present. You're right - I'm sure they're innocent.

So whats going to happen if I go in my basement at gather a lot of old pipes together in a large bag, and then take a walk around 1am through downtown????

I'm I going to be arrested for Felonies, but in jail, and have my name and picture put in the media???

Would I then be able to sue the RPD???
