Actually, even if a mother hid a bunch of drinking, there's physical aspects of FAS that isn't present with autism. It is possible to have both diagnosis, however adding autism to a child with FAS probably is a misdiagnosis or over-diagnosing on the medical end. It's possible a child can obtain more services with an autism dx than a FAS dx. When this happens, it of course screws up the autism rates.
So the possibility of a mom pointing a finger else where isn't all that possible.
there's physical aspects of OPP either, but still moms of kids with autism know they drank while pregnant.

""""The consensus among mainstream autism researchers is that genetic factors predominate. Environmental factors that have been claimed to contribute to autism or exacerbate its symptoms, or may be important to consider in future research, include certain foods,[14] infectious disease, heavy metals, solvents, diesel exhaust, PCBs, phthalates and phenols used in plastic products, pesticides, brominated flame retardants, ALCOHOL, smoking, illicit drugs, and vaccines.""" Did everyone see the word CLAIMED??? There's about 100 claims out there as to the cause of autism.
If you're trying to pin the autism rates on mothers drinking while pregnant,
that's an unfounded claim. But thanks for pointing out environmental factors don't include autism.

WRONG. Environment has been found to be greater and genetics accounts for 3-9 percent and possibly up to 20%. That leaves 80 percent or more no inherited. You sound like you read friend's garbage posts.

Enough with the environment and vaccines. It is a mental disorder. Pure and simple.

Not true on all accounts. I wouldn't ignore IF Winnipeg ever had evidence to back up his vaccine claims. But since he have no evidence, there's nothing to consider. He also don't understand how statistics works. Ther is no way to know how many carry the genes science has found without testing every single person with autism. Regardless of the genetics and genes science has found, the remainder doesn't automatically point to anything else without something to back it up. It could just be the remainder is a misdiagnosis.

And I have zero respect for anyone who cant conduct themselves in a civil manner, resorts to name calling and profanity, has preset assumptions of others and cant stay on topic.

No one has ever denied vaccines have side effects, every medical intervention has that possibility however the side effects of any vaccine is no different than the side effects of contracting the disease itself. The risk is lower with vaccines since it's a small amount of the virus. The only ones who never knew this is anti vaxxers.

As for those awarded in Vaccine Comp Court, very few seal the records. Anyone can read almost all of them online. All Vaccine Comp Court proves is vaccines carry risks. Hello. However the majority who get vaccines are not affected by severe side effects, and those that are affected only means anything to that one person, not the whole. Many things put people at higher rsk factors than others. Fact still is, no case has been awarded for autism. So Vaccine Comp Court provides no valid argument other than hello, vaccines have risk of side effects.

Vaccines are a choice, parents have the right to make that choice either way and any medical choice without being ridiculed, as shown above. No one really cares who does or doesn't get vaccines, except for when people travel to other countries then returm and choose to share their germs.

Who said vaccine comp has nothing to do with vaccines? Vaccine Comp Court provides no valid argument other than hello, vaccines have risk of side effects. It has nothing to do with this autism forum topic.

What's comedy central is anti vaxxers claim they had noooooo clue vaccines carried side effects, and deny it's the same side effects the actual disease causes if you contract it.
