Once I was in McDonald's and a cop came in and asked me for some of my fry's,
I told him to buy his own.
He then dragged me out back and told me he was going to teach me some respect and he then punched me in the belly.
The next day I went to the Police Head quarters to report him. The officers there said he did nothing against the police rule book even though they admit if they were the officer they would have handled the situation differently.
I know this may be futile, but I would file a lawsuit.
A friend of a friend of mine had the RPD storm into his backyard and shoot both of his dogs, claiming that they had received complaints that illegal dogfighting was going on. When he ran out of the house to see what was going on, they tasered him, telling the judge later that the 'suspect was not complying with orders to stop and put up his hands,' which neither of the officers had done. He was fined and let go, given a court date to show up to.
Two weeks later, he shows up for court and is arrested for violation of probation, even though he wasn't placed on probation. He served six months not in MCJ, but in Albion Correctional.
When he was released, he was put on the bracelet program and placed in a halfway house. The house had no plumbing, no lights, and no windows. When his PO showed up, he complained as was promptly arrested for 'non compliance of parole' and threatening the officer with a knife. He was placed in prison again, this time at Rahway in New Jersey, for a term of 10 years.
All of this because of a misunderstanding with the RPD. Come on,people. Let's get it together now.
No reparations, no peace.
