When are the news writers at WHEC going to learn that "Female" is just a gender indentifier? Stop using the term male and female to identify victims and call them what they are, i.e. Man, Woman, Girl, Boy.

They describe a species as "female" or "male". So, it's a city species, right?

Age was not mentioned here. Where'd you get the "young girl" bit? Nor did they say where she lived, so maybe not "inner city". According to another source, police said she was 29. Don't jump to conclusions.

You people are so ignorant. Nina was a wonderful woman, friend, daughter, sister and aunt. If you don't have anything positive to say you should keep ur comments to urself. I knew Nina personally and she didn't deserve that. No one does. How would you feel if that was ur loved one? RIP Nina You will be missed.

I'm surprised it took this long to have the first homicide of the year. On another note, is anyone beginning to schedule the worthless "march for peace" that always accompanies this sort of behavior?

our police and officials are incredibly dumb

every damn night i see large groups of police 3-4-5-6-7-8 cars deep all following each other driving around in the same area, they are in cars, which means they are mobile, which means they dont need to be bumper to bumper, they could easily spread out and cover more ground

the more ground the cover, the more stress they put on criminals trying to do their crimes, but no, they wanna bunch up like a bunch of rookies, absolutely ignorance

Hi -

it would be helpful if you would post some details of the crime and her as a person so people would get to know her better. Most of these posters are only insulting because they can hide behind a monitor...

I am so sorry for your loss. I can not imagine how her class will be told of this tragedy. I am certain the children loved her dearly.
