How the heck did a piece on coyotes turn into race issue? Was the coyote white and the cat black?

Wish a coyote would go after Pimp Daddy, and drag him into the Bay. What a horrible thing to say about old people.

Maybe you should thank your lucky stars you have a job, a family and health. Coyotes make dogs bark. Old people as some have called them were young once, therefore you will be old someday also. As far as blacks are concerned I see them all over Irondequoit. As far as loud music I have only seen white young males playing in their cars, and yes they play rap. We should be more worried about safety, progress and jobs here in the US.

It really is a good idea to keep your pets in, with increasing "urban sprawl", it is not uncommon to find a coyote, bear, or fox in your back yard that is just trying to survive and will eat them if they can.

This morning I seen a coyote run thru my back yard! Please Beware!!!!! They have been spotted around the summertime area several times! Way to much for my liking! Yes Irondequout brought them here to control the deer issue and now Its out of control. Not to mention that we still have a very bad deer! I AM ALL FOR BAIT IN SHOOT! THE TOWN SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT THAT WAY! NOW WE HAVE TWO PROBLEMS!!!

Lol awwwww poor kitten meow. They are beautiful animals, my neighbor, a farmer has many cows one night one of his calfs was left out on the pasture over night with the other cows and was killed by a pack of coyotes. I know my neighbor very well and speak on a dailey basis. The night before i was outside having a fire in my yard and at about 2:30am I heard the cows going crazy mooing like I've never heard before and then the at least 4 different coyotes started to "bark or call" if you will) it got louder and louder and more frequent the it was a mix of frantic mooing and coyotes high pitch barking and howling for about 5 min.( i was getting freaked out and was debating on going inside ) but it stopped and never heard any more of the coyotes calling that night but the next day while mowing the lawn I saw the farmer, my neighbor with a small calf in the front of his tractor bucket I went over to see what had happened and sure enough the small calf aprox 1 month old had been attacked and mauled by a pack of coyotes there were tracks all around the animal, blood, the animal had a huge hole on it's side near the flank near the rear leg, were they ripped the meat out.. this was 2 years ago and no attack since but I still hear them a few nights a week howling/barking in the woods but since the farmer keeps them in the barn overnight.

Also I own land in st.Lawrence county that borders 14,000 acres of NYS forest land and have heard stories from many different people including my own father who isa law enforcement officer and have heard the DEC trapping coyotes in the Adirondacks and releasing them in monroe county to " control the deer population " idk if that the real truth but seems legit because I have a job were we go out and have to shoot the coyotes year round when they get into a area were they cannot be I have worked this job for 7 years now and i can tell you that when I first started the average full size adult coyote in monroe county was 35-45 lbs these past 2 years the average size adult is 45-65 lbs the biggest one yet was 73lbs3oz now they never got that big in this area and but that's why I believe the DEC story to be true. And just to state the job I have we have special hunting tages from NYSDEC to take game year round, so no illegal game taking has taken place.

Anyone that has had to deal with the DEC in the last several years knows that the agency has turned into nothing short of a money-grabbing vessel for the State. Back in the day, not *that* long ago, people that worked for the DEC actually cared for the environment. No longer. I actually believe "Patron". Coyotes are numerous in WNY. It's rare that they would attack and kill a calf, but it's certainly possible if what "Patron" stated is true.

I occasionally walk at night as part of an exercise program. A couple of times I saw strange tall scruffy dogs with a odd limp to their walk moving on ahead of me and behind. Seeing the eyes reflecting light from behind brush is an eerie experience.
I used to see packs of them hiding behind and under the bleachers where the track used to be before they changed the layout at Eastridge high school.
I wonder where the went to?
