She is waiting for her appeal to be heard no? There's no guarantee her appeal will be upheld, so she could still end up doing the time. Then there's also the strong possibility that she will screw up again. Clearly she has got anger issues and doesn't make good decisions. Karma has a way of dealing with people like her. She will be back behind bars or dead.

Karma does have its way, just like how that racist white lady checking receipts of only blacks at registers when it isn't the job of a cashier to do, got punched in her face and was made to look stupid. Now that's Karma.

And another question: so because the old lady asked to see a receipt, she deserved to get punched in the face?

Maybe you have seniors in your family? Can you conceive of circumstances where it would be acceptable for them to be assaulted by someone decades younger, someone young and strong? I'm just curious because you seem to condone what happened.

And before you accuse me of being a racist, I can assure you that had the races been reversed in this incident, I would be just as outraged. If you condone or justify what happened...you're not playing with a full deck.

I guess you don't know how it all happened as it seems you think that this black woman was leaving the store and a little nice old grandma was doing her job as a door greeter and when she simply asked for the receipt she got punched out and to the ground.

I can't believe I'm going to waste my time explaining to you how it all happened. I knew enough to look into it before I took sides or made silly comments, so I wouldn't look as stupid and racist as you.
The media did report it completely incorrect at first, but they slowly come around to report more of the truth, but it seems you racist whites still have the first story that was told drilled into your minds.(all media reports have called her a door greeter, and it was only recently where they admit she wasn't a door greeter)
She wasn't a door greeter, she was a cashier, and its not a job of a cashier to check receipts.(if you worked at walmart or know anyone that works there you would know this)
Do blacks now need to show receipts at the registers to the cashiers and at the front doors to the door greeters?? Maybe we should also stop and show our receipts to the walmart employee retrieving shopping carts outside in the parking lot??
And she didn't even ask Jackie, she asked the black man that was standing next to Jackie. She even ripped the bag out of the black mans hand and kept it for awhile, she even hide it from him under her register.(watch the video's on the internet to show you this) Jackie ended up getting the bag that was paid for a walked away, it was the nice little old white lady that left her register and waiting customers to not only run after Jackie but to put her hands on Jackie left arm as if she was going to arrest her.

I assume you are white, and I'd be willing to bet my life on the fact that you have never been asked for a receipt at a register by a walmart cashier. Yet, you feel if it occurs to blacks that we are to just allow it to happen to do what ever the cashier asks of us as if she is a cop of something and then just report it later to the white walmart manager???

Look around and read all the stories on it, watch all the videos on it and you will see like I did.
Do you really think that would possible a black cashier that was racist and decided on her own to just go ahead and check receipts off of white customers coming through her line cause she thinks whites steal??
