Please somebody go get Bill's reaction to Duffy's latest tricks.

If it wasn't for Bill, Duffy wouldn't have been Mayor.
Matter a fact, if it wasn't for Bill, Duffy wouldn't have even been the police chief.

I can't understand why you can't see the corruption that is Bill Johnson's Legacy.

When Duffy took over, the first thing he did was open the books on the fast ferry project and you could see the shady deals that bill made.

Bill Johnson was in office for himself and not for the people who he was supposed to serve.

daddy says the only thing Bill Johnson succeeded in or did well in, in 12 years was getting daddy fired.

This is true! Johnson had lobbied for Duffy to get in office! Once Duffy got in, he put his own staff in, and the city took a turn for the worse! And look where Duffy is now!

This is not true, BJ was getting things going. Unlike Duffy and Richards, BJ was not thinking conservative! Say what you want about the Fast Ferry, but at least he was trying to boost tourism in Rochesr. He got High Falls jumping at the time. He made sure Tops Markets were convienient for inner-city residents, He got Frontier Field going, he created the Rochester Music Fest, he got the main Library and it's branches going, Bill Johnson made this city move! Who else would have came here and done that?

Tell me one thing that involving the fast ferry dealings that even looks like corruption.

look at the paragraph in bold letters that reads: "Spending Not Disclosed to Public"

THAT kinda looks like corruption.

Well just wait till Lovely becomes Mayor, and we will give you a similar link about Duffy, Richards and Midtown.

I'm not defending BJ by any means.....
This is more a case of "creative financing" than graft or corruption.

Almost all the major projects initiated by BJ/BD/TR failed or floundered, or are, floundering. Mostly because those that they partner with outside of the Gov't don't hold up their end.

To Duffy's credit he did kill the Ferry and the Renaissance PAC.

Richard's should have done the same with Midtown....

You might be right.
And I hope she does better.

But, once you start getting a lot of money thrown at you,(especially if you didn't have any to start with)... it becomes hard to turn "free" money down.

My biggest hope with Lovely, is that she reigns in the police, making them accountable for overstepping the constitutional rights of the citizens.

You whites want a white Mayor soo bad, then maybe you all need to move back into the city and vote for a white mayor.
But until then you need to stay in the burbs and mind your own business and let us pick who we want to be our mayor.

I just don't understand this phenomenon where you people that live in the burbs act and even truly feel the Rochester is YOUR city.

We city folk don't give any opinion of who should be the Town of Greece Supervisor, so why should Greece residents have soo much of a say in who becomes mayor of the city Rochester?

Just wake up, look at the receiver of your property tax bill, and mind your own business.

The citys only life line is white suburban support.
Name one event other than the pr fest or the claissa st reunion that would survive without overwhelming white suberban support.
Name one.

If suburban whites boycotted the city for one month what do you think would happen?
Whites should do a Al Sharpton.Jesse Jaaaackson style boycott.
Without white suburbans the ghetto of Rochester would be on life support in a month and DEAD in two.
Like the reverand boys maybe it's time for suburban whites to show there clout.

Your stupid as a rock.
City residents spend over 10 times the amount of money in the suburbs then suburbans spend in the city.

Where do you spend your money in our city???
Maybe you come into the city to spend your money at bars that are owned by people that live in the burbs anyways, and then while there they tie up our police department and you drive home drunk and many times a year your drunk driving kills or seriously injures our city residents.

Lets see, suburbans spend money in the city??

Ohhh,

games at the war memorial, the same war memorial that the city tax dollars have to fund to keep open.

free concerts in the park,

free fire works,

you come into the city to dump your trash on our curb so you don't have to pay for your own trash removal.

what else??
