When you donate money to a charity, who controls the money

The "Make it right" foundation that Brad Pitt started to rebuild the homes in the 9th ward are subsidized eco-trash, that none of the Louisiana residents want. Now they can't GIVE them away!
The homes were built with earth friendly materials and cost over $300,000 dollars to build. They are sold at approx $100.000 with subsidies from the "Make it right" foundation that many people donated money for.
It is the home-owner's version of listen to the sermon before we let you eat for free!
