Do you live in a hole in the ground or in a sewer? What a disgusting waste and an ignorant fool you are. You're lower than low. I wonder how many times you got beat up in your life. If you ever went to school or had a job, probably everyday.

I agree with you on the Korean War and the Vietnam War were called Police Actions, but believe me, they were the same as a "war".
Yes, to the people who do the fighting ... War is hell, but combat is a Mother-F@#ker. But of the people who go to war, only a few actually fight! During Viet Nam, they were called REMF (Rear Echelon Mother-F#@kers). Today, they are called Fobbits (as in they never leave the FOB[Forward Operating Base]) And the combatants are not who we thought they would be either ... truck drivers & contractores.

You are also correct about the American people and their feelings about these Police Actions.
But when have members of our government cared about what the people wanted ...

As for the government, I really don't know what to believe anymore. Sometimes what they say sounds so believable.
Yeah, that is where our Media has failed us. Our media spends all it's time feeding the masses government propaganda, when it should be uncovering the widespread corruption in our government.
If they told us the truth, no one would have voted for either Obama or Romney.

I'm pretty sure that both the Korean War and the Viet Nam war were police actions, as there was no formal declaration of war by congress.
The American people were agaist the US going into both those wars, and by calling it a police action, it kept congressmen from having to vote for a declaration of war (and against the people which could prevent them from getting re-elected.)
We NEVER found those WMD that they justified going into Iraq for.
The Gulf of Tonkin incident was faked (as recently uncovered in declassified government documents) which drew us into the Veit Nam War. Hell, even the bombing of the USS Maine was a false flag to get us to go into the Spanish-American War. Our history is rich with the government fooling the masses to enter into war!
Given how often the GUMMINT has lied to the people to justify going to war, how can you believe the current BS coming from Washington over the Iranians having nukes?
Actually the Gulf of Tonkin was factual as far as the August 2nd incident occurred, First, media descriptions of the August 2nd attack as an "unprovoked attack" against a U.S. destroyer on "routine patrol" hid the fact that the Maddox was providing support for South Vietnamese military operations against the North. Second, the alleged August 4th attack appears to be a fabrication, official accounts attributing the "error" to confusion.

In 1995, General Vo Nguyen Giap, commander-in-chief of North Vietnamese forces at the time, disavowed any involvement with the August 4 incident, though he did confirm the August 2 attack.

The Aug. 4, 1964 Gulf of Tonkin incident, where US warships were apparently attacked by North Vietnamese PT Boats an incident that kicked off US involvement in the Vietnam war was a staged event that never actually took place.

Either way, both incidents, one factual and the other not got us into the war in Vietnam.

Our Media should be covering how QE3 is watering down the US Dollar even more ... and how that is driving inflation up for the rest of us.

They should be talking about how our government is considering joining the UN gun ban that could take away our 2nd Amendment rights.

They should be talking about election fraud and how the American people haven't really been involved in electing process for the last 30 years.

There should be more outrage from the media over how the Patriot Act & NDAA stole our civil rights ...

But insead, they cover stupid crap like Obama singing to the press corps.

1st link talks about Aug 4th, which I stated didn't happen, read what I wrote and then read the article, the article in the first link ONLY talks about Aug 4th.

2nd link, the youtube link, states the Aug 2nd attack occurred but not the Aug 4th

and your third link only mentions August 1964 and doesn't go into any specifics about the 2 separate incidents.

So once again, August 2, 1964 was an actual incident while the August 4, 1964 was not a factual incident.

Cool expressions (REMF and Fobbits), but this is the first time I ever heard of them. Do you have any other cool terms or expressions? If so, please pass them on.
