I should hardly surprise anyone that the gas industry is bankrolling JLCNY and other pro-fracking pressure groups.

<quoted text>It doesn't surprise me anymore than the anti-fracking groups spending as much as they have when fracking has been proven safe for over 60 years. Or that they have been using videos that have been proven nothing but lies like the ones of flames coming out of sink faucets.
How about showing me some sources you have to back your statement. I can't find any.

“Water use and contamination are among the most pressing and controversial aspects of shale gas and oil development,” says Evan Hansen of Downstream Strategies.“Industry and policymakers must heed this information to prevent water and waste problems from escalating.”

There is nothing but bad news for fracking. It's more of the republican for profit let the people die laws.

There is nothing but bad news for the USA; Barack Hussein Obama, Queen of the Democratic Cookie Parker Club, has been duly noted for "Lie of the Year" ... which translates into "let the people die" laws, since they can't afford the health care plans and doctors Obama promised they could keep if they liked them, and they can't even afford their "new, lousy plans", even though Obama promised the new phony healthcare would "save" them money. You should be ashamed of yourself for still supporting this democratic fraud from corrupt Chicago.

I want all you anti people to shut off the energy coming into your place of living and see how long it takes for you to turn it back on, i bet you dont even turn it off.

PA was the first state to drill for Oil, then came the horseless carriage.

Please dont stand in the way of progress.

If all these NIMBYS think gas and oil drilling is not safe then why do they use it where it's coming from other place's where people are affected by it all.
If there is a concern about our environment then why do they use 3 gallons of fresh water to flush there bodily waste and let it seep into public wells or flow thew waste treatment into the river. maybe they should stop eating.

It's not progress if it's polluting our drinking water.

And it's right there in PA

We can have other energy and many do. There's solar panels and there's wind power. Most states have whole farms dedicated to windmills.

Show us your links. This isn't about alternative energy. It's about oil. Alternative energy is just the SSDD only this time the process of getting it is leaving disaster in its wake.

There's pollution in the water, on the land and in the air.

The EPA has been ladened with former corporate executives for the industry in which they are supposed to monitor.

Remember when the mining accident occurred in WV under Bush and come to find out the President of the Mine Owners association was the person in charge of overseeing mine safety? It's been the fox guarding the hen house since Nixon.

I don't know how to cut and paste to send out links form other sites but i can tell you to google bankrupt solar panel firm took stimulus money and left toxic mess, this is the second solar manufacturing company this has happen to. it's not feasable for solar and pinwheels, if it was then you would see these eye sores on everybodys property.

Duke University worked with USGS and found that fracing can not cause well water contamination. i know many people who work for the oil and gas companys in PA and many more others who live there and say things are fine and the liars are aways found to be guilty of doing wrong from trying to sue
