Thank God, they got this one correct. And what angel is out late at night, breaking into cars????? Intent was not established and self defense was. I am sorry for the loss of life, but in the end this is a direct reflection of poor parents and a poor community! Where were this young man's parents to guide him?

Justice was served....
"He was brutally murdered," Carol Cervini said. "It's not right, it's not fair. How did this happen to a beautiful sweet child like that?"
...it happened because he was not home where he should have been.
Punishable by death?

Just a reminder...He didn't die because he was breaking into cars, he died because he had no respect for anybody and rushed a man with a gun.

With all due respect to the Cervini family, my son knows that if he trespasses on another citizen's property, let alone, vandalizes that property, he runs the risk of getting shot.
Whether you live in the city or suburbs doesn't matter. The second amendment is there to allow us to protect ourselves. Mr. Scott was protecting his neighborhood. Thank God the jury saw it that way.

From the little that I have read, I think the correct verdict was given. Being a former resident of that particular area, calling the police would have done nothing! It's sad that a man can make that observation all by himself. We need decent people to join the CJ field, those who shall not render to the political masses! Congrats scott! Glad to see that a black man wasn't found guilty until proven innocent for once!

Are Auberger & Co. still accepting applications for Greece Chief of Police? I'm STILL suggesting Rod Scott for that position.

I am happy for the Scott Family, and maybe now the teens that are out breaking into people property will think twice because they can see that people are not going to tolerate it anymore. This Jury got it right. Also this is not a black or white issue it is a wrong or right issue.
