This case sure is taking a long time to be finished. I hope she gets 8 years, but she probably won't.

Look what Judge Noonan gave this first time offender for three break In's to buildings.

Not like he broke an old ladies face and this young man gets 6-18 years????

In October, Cabrera admitted to three Class D felonies of burglary and escape.

With a possible maximum sentence of two-and-a-third to seven years on each count, Noonan came close to giving Cabrera the max. Cabrera will serve two to six on all three counts, served consecutively, which means he could be in prison for six to 18 years. If he's released any time before 18 years, the balance of the sentence will be served on parole.

Cabrera's crimes included a burglary of St. Paul's, St. Mary's, Ascension West, First Baptist and St. James.

I hope he throws the book at her! Punching an old lady in the face is disgusting. I still love how all the people blocked her SUV so she couldn't leave the parking lot.

I still don't understand why she wasn't charged with a hate (thought) crime. The difference between probation and actual jail time could be the uneducated filth that came out of her mouth as she was brutalizing an elderly woman. Take notes barnfart.

Cabrerra's 18 years was well deserved. He also had escaped from jail. He's clearly going to be a career criminal.

She was charged with the new Granny Law instead. It makes it a felony charge.

Blacks can't be charged with a hate crime. According to the court transcripts, this black woman was out of control with saying all kinds of disrespectful things about white people. She said these things before, during, and after her attack on the old white woman. Normally that would be called a "hate crime", but in order to keep Jackson, Sharpton, and all of the black pastors from Rochester from totally flipping out, they won't charge this woman with a "hate crime".

That's right. Thanks for refreshing my memory. It was a better charge using the granny law rather than the hate crime.

So she got 5 years in prison would be nice if the victim could select a few family members to each take a cheap shot at the animals face when she finishes prison.

Hopefully you won't lose any sleep over this, knowing she got some time for her crime.

Actually, and you know I have followed this case since day one.
I think a couple of years would have been more than enough.
Except for the fact she feels no remorse and is trying to portray herself as the victim.
Plus I think she got screwed by her own Lawyers$$$

I agree with all that you said. I have been following this only to see if the race card was played and allowed. Does anyone know of the impact on the victim to date?

She should have done the full 8yrs in prison. Why do you thing most blacks have huge rap sheets? Because all they do is keep slapping the blacks on the wrist. Even her bail money was drug money and a lot of people know it. Don't forget her relative was arrested for drug trafficking. Test that money and the truff lol will come out. And to cc and rhonda and your other apes that said that old lady deserved it. And you scums laughed about it. HERE A BIG F*CK YOU!!!!!!!!!! ha ha That negro is were she deserves to be.

The puncher was half the punchee's age, and the puncher outweighed the punchee by about 115 pounds. So what do you think was the outcome for the punchee? What gets my interest is how some people on Topix really slam a certaain type of person, but don't say a word about another type of person. Isn't crime, a crime for everyone?

As much as I despise what this stupid, ugly, fat, black woman did, I was very surprised and then troubled that she got 5 years. I was expecting that she would get some jail time, but I thought it would be more like 1 year and probation. Five years is a VERY harsh sentence, and frankly doesn't make sense, relatively speaking. There is civil court to address pain and suffering. The old lady in her pink suit was so dramatic in court, she annoyed me too. Five years for a punch for someone with no prior criminal record makes me question the Judge in this case.

Check out the link in post #3 She got off easy. She could have taken the plea with a max of 3 years.
