A Rochester black man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting at the Cedarwood Towers Apartments on East Main Street.
James Johnson, 27, of Rochester is charged with second-degree murder.
Police say Johnson shot and killed Tyler Cody in the entranceway of the Cedarwood Towers Apartments on East Main Street on April 30. Investigators say Johnson and Cody may have been involved in some sort of argument prior to the shooting.

Ideology, Power and Linguistic Theory

Back in January, Michael Royal, Jennifer Leasure, Michael Adams and Lachelle Powell were found murdered; tied up with duct tape over their mouths.

Their bodies were found on the third level in a home after firefighters responded to a report of a fire Sunday just before midnight.

A homicide and arson investigation has been underway since early Monday.

Police say the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco and Explosives is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case.
