FINALLY!!! A judge who has and uses some common sense. It's a shame it took this long for the legal system to make a common sense ruling. I'm sorry LAIDLAW staff; your money hungry owners are finally put in their place. They came in to disrupt a system that has been working for years and tried to manipulate the system, and FINALLY, someone slapped their hands. KUDOS to the judge. I think the owners of LAIDLAW tried to use the "RuralMetro" playbook in how to scam the city. Unfortunately for Rural Metro, it worked and Monroe lost out. Maybe now the parents and students can breathe a sigh of relief and see that the legal system can work. Now if we could just get a judge that would over turn Maggie Brooks and her rich republican friends who have hijacked the county and its services. To all those who don't think their vote matters, think again. You want the corruption in Monroe County, Albany, and Washington to stop, then take the time and go VOTE!!!! CONRATULATIONS RTS and the Roch. School Dist.

no that is not any better. I have a feeling that when animals attack makes these comments he is venting out anger that he has had built up for some time. I am thinking maybe his father was or is in prison or something. Or his father wasnt around or didnt really care to have anything to do with him. I think he is using this as a way to make his own crappy life seem more meaningful

I am reply to this 2008 ruling in 2013, so it is a very late reply...
I take a bus every day; I do not believe a public bus company that receives federal money should be doing private business with RCSD; the end result is a less quality service for regular bus patrons.
RTS has a strong union. Of course its difficult to serve its employees and transport low income people but public transportation is "the in" and we will not get there by linking onto the education system.
