Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason said, "We can't thank Stan enough for all he did for us the last four seasons, both on the field and promoting Red Wings baseball off the field so we have fired him. How about firing the security company for the Red Rings headed by no other than Nick Joseph the fired Greece Police Officer and now headed to jail. This man was first class. Dan Mason needs to go.

He did what the Twins expected- he developed a HELL OF ALOT of prospects that made the team- there are about a dozen guys on this yrs Minny roster that were in Rochester, and they seem to have done well up in the Majors - THAT is the role of a farm team.
Go back to fantasy baseball and leave real baseball to those in the know.

exactly. and, Mason is one of the best in the country at what a GM of a "farm team" is supposed to be. financially responsible, active in the community, communicative with the big club, flexible enough to help the big club; yet nimble enough to keep fans in the seats down here. what do you guys think a farm club's role is, in the big picture?

Would have been nice to have a Good By at the end of the season or now. What about Saturday during the Landmark tours? Someone should paint the stadium lawn...

what? It can not be a baseball decision. Look at all the Twins that came threw Rochester. Its got to be something else.

Political not a business decision. When Terry Ryan stepped down, it was a matter of time. Stan got the most out the talent given even when he supplied The Twins with all the pitching and call-ups in the field. This is what happens when a Manager stands up to Administration to save Llriano's career during his rehab. Twins wanted LLriano Stan said He's not ready. Guess who was right Stan. Ask Tony the trainer who sided with management.

I met Stu and Stan at "AA" New Britain. The whole area liked them, the team and how competitive they always were against the Yankees. Stu and Stan are class act's and the minor leagues need them around.

Gee, I didn't know that the coaches were the guys parading around out on the field doing all the hitting and catching of the balls there? Why fire to coaches, they d a better job than the owners do and the players should be the ones to get fired if they don't win.. this is fucked up, Football works the same way too, IF Buffalo would keep the same team players for 2 years in a row, they'd probably have a better working team cause they all play together, change every year makes no sense to me, then they have to start all over again!! The JILL'S play better ball than the BILLS. And the Red Wings are a great Rochester baseball team, the owner is the one that SUCKS!!
