Why do the media keep calling it "Maplewood Avenue", when it is clearly "Maplewood Park"???

Well Maplewood Park is on Maplewood Ave. Why sweat such insignificant details. It is essentially the same place.

Maplewood Park is on Lake too, why not claim it happened on Lake Ave then???
Maybe cause it didn't happen on Lake Ave or Maplewood Ave, IT HAPPENED ON MAPLEWOOD PARK.

And the writter even uses "!!!!!" after Maplewood Ave.

I think you are getting the street called "Maplewood Park" with the actual PARK called "Maplewood Park".

Violent Crime Stats for 2012.
NYC= 3.98 per 1000 residents. Victim chances=1 in 251.
Brooklyn = 6.78 per 1000 residents. chances=1 in 159.
Rochester = 9.63 per 1000 residents, chances = 1 in 104
(Neighborhood Scout)
Perception of violence? How about reality of violence.
