i just dont understand whats wrong with these kids
what is going on in our school system and these kids family lives that are turning all these kids into killers like they live in iraq or something
this city really needs to do something to change things
but heres a tip, more cops and tougher rules arent the best answer
what is? i dont know
but i do know escalation historically never works
time to go back to the drawing board and come up with some real solutions to reach these people in the city of rochester
it must be something we as a community are doing wrong, we may not be the worst or most dangerous city, but its up there
i will say though that it is good cops did things seemingly the right way in this case and got the suspect, hopefully they didnt make anymore of their usual mistakes so this case will actually stick

"""Arnold is charged with murder in the 2nd degree for her role in the homicide""".
What does "her role" mean???
Does it mean that she didn't actually do it, and the RPD have failed to make a case on the person who actually did it???
Normally when you her "her role", "his role", or "their role", it means other arrest should have been made.????

16 yr old tough chick , I'm betting she's not from the burbs huh RPDsuks/Ch.13sucks?
#4 Aug 11, 2009
She or no one else has snitched on the triggerman yet, or RPD knows who it is and havent been able to locate/arrest him.
#5 Aug 11, 2009
God bless the families senseless murders in Rochester my prayers go out
#6 Aug 11, 2009
Maybe it's just poor writing by the author of the article. I'm not ready to cry "conspiracy theory" yet.
#7 Aug 11, 2009
Wow what took so long? It was reported to police at the time it happened that she was the culprit. RPD waited so that they could say it's the no snitching code is all.
#8 Aug 11, 2009
You don't need to cry "conspiracy theory",
instead just cry RPDSUKS!!!!!! LOL :-)
ps: i wish we could all use are own names, instead of using other peoples. i wonder who started it and if they regret starting it???

Her parents must be so proud.

Now, you know why I moved out of the city long ago.
I put up with nonsense far too long as it was.
The problem isn't the city in and of itself.
The problem is the ethnic minorities and the way they behave.
They have no knowledge of behaving as a socialized human being should behave.
They only have knowledge of behaving like animals in the jungle.
Which is what they're shown by their home lives.
I suggest encapsulating the city with protective walls, then letting them have at each other.
Until such time as it is safe to go back into the city for lawful purposes.
I say we start today.
What say you?
#12 Aug 12, 2009
If you moved out of the city long ago, why are you soo into whats going on in it?
What business of yours is it??
#13 Aug 12, 2009
Should we not be interested in the rest of the world just because we don't live there? Showing interest in what's going on in the city is the least of this individual's problems. Pointing fingers at "ethnic minorities" is not helpful, not a solution, and makes you look ignorant.
#14 Aug 12, 2009
Ethnic Minorities, in the city, ARE the problem.
They need to be jailed as often as possible as long as possible with no chance of leaving jail.
Hence, that is why I currently reside in the suburbs.
Not nearly enough minorities are in jail.
AND I am ashamed to say that I live near the City of Rochester.
People outside this area know all too well of the problems Rochester has.
Crime, Violence, Drugs, corrupt this, corrupt that ...
Welcome to Rottenfester!
(As the city is known throughout the land).

No. It actually makes me observant.
You can be politically correct if you so choose.
I prefer to be a realist.
That is, admit what I see and observe.
I can quote you chapter and verse from ANY recent day regarding crime, violence, drugs, etc. in the city if you so desire.
Guess what? The MAJORITY (99.9 percent) of the crimes are committed by minorities.
I know that will shock your political correctness.
It's not my job to provide solutions AKA Save The World.
That's the job of the politicans and city residents.
So far, I am NOT impressed with their lack of efforts in solving the problems of their city.
That is why I moved out of and have NO intention of moving back to the city.
Try being observant sometime.
Instead of knee jerk reactionary.
You'll find it a refreshing change.

I'd say you should have your own tv show. some valid points there, but be ready for the attacks sure to come your way. truth hurts.
#17 Aug 12, 2009
So, according to that logic, before you moved from the city it WAS your job to find a solution?
Pointing out that the majority of crimes in the city are committed by minorities is one thing. Looking at where the crime comes from is actually helpful in working on a solution. However, all-emcompassing and aggressive comments like "I suggest encapsulating the city with protective walls, then letting them have at each other" and "They need to be jailed as often as possible as long as possible with no chance of leaving jail" are ignorant, not "observant."
#18 Aug 12, 2009
Au contraire NOT so wise Sage ...
Logic regularly eludes you, doesn't it?
Solutions have been offered.
Like most bleeding heart Liberals, you can choose to ignore them or embrace them as being offered from real life observation and empirical data.
I comment from real life observations of the city.
My thoughts are the thoughts of many others who are NOT on welfare, NOT criminals and are law-abiding, tax-paying citizens.
You know. That group of people who have left the city because of its ills and problems that aren't being rectified.
I am now living a more relaxed life.
NOT having to worry about crime, drugs and violence at the levels that occur in the city.
See if that logic can permeate your citified mind.

All nice posts but boy it's going to be one long hot weekend in this city.

As this is black on black crime, racism cannot be claimed as the reason. Perhaps she will use the tried and true defense "he was going to force a sex act on me, so I killed him"...or is it only acceptable to use that in stabbings of bike shop owners?
