You come on here writing novel after novel disagreeing with what transpired with the police. Then you criticize and attack people who don't agree with you by saying they have an agenda or are somehow related to someone in law enforcement? If you use your "theory" on that, then you must be related to people who resist arrest and attempt to pepper spray police officers then act out during their arraignment. YOU are not the ONLY person entitled to an opinion on this. IF you resist arrest when asked REPEATEDLY to comply....THEN you have created your own damn problem. That simple.
my 1st reply was not posted by topix so ill try again but much more succinctly

your rant is nonsense, i have not stated opinion, i have stated only fact

i have never defended the woman or her actions so your "theory" about applying my "theory" to me is inapplicable seeing as im not supporting the woman resisting in any way whatsoever

i was very clear about that on multiple occasions

my stance is factually based only

these actions caused a rift between law enforcement and the community

these actions caused a problem for the officer

these actions caused a problem for the community as now that part of the community will not cooperate with law enforcement in the future

these actions have bought negative national attention to rochester

these actions have cost the taxpayers money by having to pay for these investigations

even if the cop had the right to do what he did, it was NOT in his or ANYONES best interests to do what he did

there were better ways he couldve achieved his goal

THAT IS FACT ONLY

not opinion, but 100 percent fact

im the only one on here stating facts, the rest of you are too focused on your OPINION of the woman to see the damage this incident does to the ENTIRE community of rochester

only people online support this

no one in real life does

no one on the street would say its the best case scenario for an officer to strike a woman in the back of the head because shes resisting, pregnant or not

i also guarantee and i know for a FACT the officers are NOT trained to use that tactic FIRST, period, bottom line, end of story

the only people supporting this event are people who are family, law enforcement themselves, or PAID to come here and provide online support to the police in an attempt to gain public support and make it APPEAR that this action has the support of the people. this is all imagery that would not be needed had better tactics been used

any logical levelheaded person without an agenda can obviously see theres better ways to have dealt with this scenario

but we get it we get your stance, no matter what the cop did according to you people he was in the right.

he couldve stuck his fist in her pulled out the baby with his bare hands, but youd still be here attacking me and defending him

we get it

I am not paid to come here to support police, have no LE in the family, am not LE myself. I am that other community here in the city of Rochester that you may not be familiar with. I am against people that act like this woman. I want the police to have more of a presence in the neighborhoods that are consistently causing problems, I want the police to be more aggressive with people that are problems and think they are above the law.

I understand it's not your world, but it's mine and I will always fight and stand up for the city that I live in. When an officer does wrong, I am the first to pounce on that officer. I'm not stupid like other people to blame the whole RPD because some people just hate all cops because they ARE the criminals. I am smart enough to know the majority are good people and don't need this crap from the trash in our city.

And i really do not give a crap if this "community" you speak of now will have trouble bonding with the cops. Wow, was that a threat? LOL They never did anyway, who cares anymore? I've lost patience with people like that. People that protect their own criminals on the street are just as bad as the criminals.

These people have a lot of snitching to do and to start showing a lot of good behavior before they ever get my support.

And just because you type out comments, does NOT make them facts. They are your OPINIONS. And now you are really starting to piss me off. How dare you even attempt to put the spotlight on the police here.

That woman didn't give a crap about the safety of her baby. And that really riles me. A piece of pregnant garbage acting like an animal and fighting and attacking police. And you got the nerve to blame the police. SMH

Who the fk acts like her? Maybe you are familiar with women like that, but I'm not. I thought the woman that punched that poor old woman in the store was evil, but then along comes another one.

I still think using the other special rpd police tactic of spitting in someones face would have been a much better tactic, it would calm them down and not have risked of hurting an unborn baby.

The RPD and the chief got to realize that no matter what, if she miss carry's the baby it opens up the city for a law suit.

I'm sure in mental hospitals there are fights, do the staff punch crazy people in the heads to get them to calm down? And do we even know if the woman has mental problems??

So if she doesn't care about her baby, that means the cops can do things that could kill the baby???
Does the innocent baby have any voice in the matter?
Does the white cop from the suburbs value the black city baby's life as little as he values the black city mother???

im starting to piss you off with my FACTS because youve lost the debate and you look like an emotional fool who is using psychological defensive mechanisms in order to continue a futile debate which youve already lost.

how dare i? how dare you not hold our society to better standards in 2013. we accomplish gigantic feats like when voyager 1 left our solar system and we accomplish extremely small feats like designing nanotechnology, yet you sit here and preach that striking a pregnant woman in the back of the head is GOOD for the community and the police? you preach that is the BEST we can do??

you want them to be more aggressive huh? go move to russia or north korea, you would find yourself very much at home there

from your words, from your wishes, you are not a good person, nor do you know good people, as good people influence the people they surround themselves with, and since you wish violence upon ANYONE, you are not good. you are a wolf in sheeps clothing.

you keep trying to associate me with that woman because you are ignorant by definition and lack reading comprehension. over and over again i have condemned the actions of that woman, but you are too emotional and foolish to realize and comprehend that.

the last thing i will address towards you is your attempt at libel against me. the fact is that I have NEVER and will NEVER threaten ANYONE. what i have stated is FACT no matter what you believe.

the pure fact that you are blind to the reality that these types of actions endanger us all, makes you dangerous to our community, but more importantly to our species.

you say you dont care about THAT COMMUNITY, well THAT COMMUNITY is PART OF ROCHESTER whether you or I like it or not.

I LIVE IN ROCHESTER, my family has been here for generations and we have NEVER been the criminals.

THAT PART OF THE COMMUNITY is by extension and by definition also part of MY COMMUNITY and yours, if you actually live here.

I DONT want those kinds of tactics in MY community because THOSE TACTICS do NOT BENEFIT MY COMMUNITY, NOR THE POLICE that utilize those tactics. When MY FAMILY and others COOPERATE WITH police IN ORDER TO MAKE ROCHESTER A BETTER PLACE, these tactics interfere with all of that work. That is not opinion, that is historical and statistical fact.

the types of actions we are speaking of endanger ALL the good people including those you claim to know.

So with that said, I am glad I am pissing you off, you are misled and perhaps your anger will someday open your eyes. But i will always deal in facts, whether or not it pisses you off

There is no reason for any further discussion since we will not agree with each other.

I am 100% behind the RPD on this one and just finished listening to Chief Sheppard on the radio speak about this and totally agree with him. I completely support him.

Because that's their job description. No matter if it is right or wrong, if a minority is involved discrimination rears its ugly head. They look ridiculous making off the wall statements, but the community funds them as leaders. It's a scam, but a really good scam.

Maybe I'll be a Reverend or Minister without credentials. Don't work, put on a show every Sunday and hammer on the cops. Get paid by my church - and bi**h all day. I do that anyway.

I remember back in the earlly 70s the Rev Raymond Graves was proven to be a racist race baiting FOOL several times. He would go on tv and scream police butality and each time it was proven he was jumping the gun and did'nt even have any of the facts yet because they had not been released. And proven WRONGwrong&wrong.
Where are all these pathetic ministers every time a BLACK murders a Black or a BLACK murders a WHITE?
I remember that whackjob. Always in front of the cameras, spewing about how minorities were prayed upon (sorry), and inevitably proven wrong. The news outlets finally stopped covering him, because he was so out there. Now we have a new generation of wingnuts. They do more to embarrass their community than help it.

Your right, Chuck Schumer should push for a law that makes it legal to abuse skanks and uncivilized people and even kill their unborn children.

What's with the obsession of putting a line space between every sentence? Do you think that makes you appear more intelligent than you are? You clearly don't know the difference between FACT and OPINION. Just because you go on and on and on and on does NOT make your OPINIONS into FACTS.
FACT: The woman attempted to pepper spray the officer.
FACT: The woman resisted arrest for quite sometime.
FACT: She would not have gotten punched if she had done as the officer instructed and put her hands behind her back.
Now come back with another nonsensical novel spewing your OPINION
and be sure to double space between sentences
to make yourself feel better about
how

you truly are.
fact: you can not debate me so you attack my character

its an age old tactic used to attempt to save face when one has lost a debate.

its also a tactic commonly used by people who are being paid for an agenda online

fact: you admit she was punched

fact: i conceded the entire time she was wrong

fact: no one with an intellect has taken the stance that she was not in the wrong

fact: that still does not make the "tactic" of punching the person the BEST tactic available

but please, keep continuing to attack my character, its amusing watching you grasp at invisible strings while you are drowning

the fact is the punch was not the BEST tactic available to achieve the ultimate goal of the police so instead you attempt to attack my character

where did i say i dont support the police?

youre only out for blood, you dont care what is done to the criminals, as long as the "criminals" are caught and the police go home at the end of the day

if you support the police, then you do agree with me, but you are being too defensive of the police to realize it.

my entire point is punching a PERSON period is not the best tactic for the police to utilize

it damages public relations whether anyone online attempts to claim otherwise

the naacp, a very powerful group is calling for the chief to be fired over this. because of this punch, because of this "tactic"

that is very damaging to the police, that is not opinion, that is fact.

at the bare minimum its cost the chief and the department its time, time which is extremely valuable.

my entire point is that different tactics wouldve been more beneficial to all parties involved, so if you support the police, then you should support them using the tactics which most benefit them

Seems like every thing you've stated has already been disputed. Steel City Steelers blackens both your eyes every time she posts. A guy 2 pages back picked you apart in broken English, fercrisesakes.

Are you speaking English as a 2nd language?

I'm wondering because you don't seem able to comprehend the written word. I clearly ridiculed the train wrecks you post like wallpaper. You don't have character, so your argument accusing me of attacking it doesn't hold water.

again you simply make outlandish claims and perform childish personal attacks, you can not even attempt to debate or claim that the tactic of punching the woman was the best tactic for the police force to utilize.

you will simply continue personal attacks

sorry but personal attacks are worthless online

and for the record, no one picked apart anything of mine, nor will they ever, they simply tried to argue semantics over whether it was a punch or slap. they did that while continually making personal attacks against me and the woman in question. they also tried their best over and over to make it appear as though im defending the woman or her actions even though my statements have all been extremely clear in that she was in the wrong.

not one single "propagandist" here has made a legit attempt at defending this "tactic" as being beneficial to the police department.

the only thing anyone here is done is claim over and over again "the cop was right"

its not about the cop being right, its about whats best for the police department and the community

when powerful national groups like the naacp calls for the chief to be fired, when investigations are being implemented by the city council members and the mayor, that is NOT a GOOD thing for those involved, especially when the FACT is, that better tactics were available to the officer, not only at the time in question, but absolutely for any future incidents

now if you or anyone actually wishes to make an attempt at debating me, state your case as to how punching a person who is resisting arrest, is the best tactic available to a police officer.
