With all that...you still can't show where the District, or anyone else for that matter, put him "in charge of getting the schools back on track" The District never adopted one of his initiatives because of his criticism of the District. His programs were nothing more than after school projects. Not part of some great master plan sanctioned by a governing agency putting him "in charge of getting the schools back on track"<quoted text>
Look. Bill Johnson was president of the Urban League and he created these failed programs that worked directly with the city school district. You say it irrelevant when it is very relevant. Just because you don't like the wording doesn't change the . When he was president his job was to improve education, curriculum and graduation rates, therefore he was charged with moving the district forward through his programs. You should practice what you preach and stick to the topic without adding things to the mix.
Bottom line here is, even with his programs in place today. The graduation rate among city school district students is dismal. In other words, the programs he created are a failure.
Try again...where and when was he put him " in charge of getting of getting the schools back on track"
There must be a newspaper article, a video, a public announcement from the District or something that supports your statement. There a tens of agency now and then that provided the same services where they also in charge? Or was Johnson running the whole show?
