So basically there is something that has been bothering me. Why does Rochester Minnesota, a city of over 100,000 people, have no such sports team to show for it? More specifically, baseball. We only have a summer collegiate baseball team in the Honkers (Not saying I don't love them of course) but when are we "good" enough for a bigger scale team? A perfect fit would be the "A" team for the Minnesota Twins. It is currently in Beloit, Wisconsin. Why does a city that small, and in a different state, get a minor league team and not Rochester? I guess I just want to see if anyone is thinking the same thing.
The Twins have a team in Rochester. They are called the Redwings. They just happen to be located in Rochester NY. Now, as for a class A team, St. Cloud or Duluth make more sense, or even St Paul itself. Rochester has Mayo, be happy!!
