Of course he's B. Hussein's biggest fan. He's another immigrant (legal, illegal, the article doesn't say) getting free health care on the U.S. taxpayers dime. And of course B. Hussein uses him for a warm and fuzzy photo op. I'd rather see Hussein pose with an American citizen who has a job, pays his taxes, pays for his own and his families health care and doesn't expect Big Government to bail him out. But of course he's not going to find any of them cowering at a rally of Demthuglicrats in Minneapolis instead of at the Tea Party rally in D.C. taking his medicine.

Wait wait wait ..... Should not this man be dead? We have been told that if you don't have Heath care and you have a serious heath issue you will die? From this story he came here with no heath care and was treated, he was not turned away. Than he was treated multiple times again, not turned away, all under the "broken" health care system. It seems to me that he had to move from a country that has a universal heath care system to a private health care system just to get treatment (for free).

The irony, of course, is that he was brought here by his mother at the time of the fall of the soviet union (1989), where he had received inadequate government-run health care, to be treated by the finest clinic in the world in the freest country in the world. Now after benefiting from our free society, he shows his gratitude by wanting to turn us into the old soviet union.

How interesting... yes, aren't the current supporters of the new ObamaCare stating that someone like Igor wouldn't get help the way things are now??????

It's true, we don't know his immigration status, and he's getting FREE health care. That's it, that's all so no, I think it's more like Fa Q.

Be thankful we have private insurance and you got the worlds best care. With Obamacare this fella would have to wait in line for care and it would all be rationed.

No offense to the guy, but he sits and fishes all day, and get free Federal medical care. Of course he supports the rest of us paying for it!!

Let's make fun of him because he's from Russia! And screw Medicaid. All of the elderly and disabled on this abortion of a program don't deserve my tax dollars.

If this guy can spend his days fishing, he surely can find a job and work like the rest of us. We cant afford to pay for every guy who wants to spend his days fishing. I am tired of my tax dollars being wasted on these lazzy bums.

You people have no right to judge Igor. He is a friend of mine and is one of the kindest and friendliest people you will ever meet. He is also quite smart and has a great sense of humor. He didn't come over here to leech off our health system. Mayo doctors visited him over there and offered to donate their services to save his life. Mayo doctors and others worked for over a year to sort through the political mess to bring him to Rochester Minnesota - to save the life of a child! He's just saying that he is thankful that he was given a second chance and would like to see others given a second chance as well. If you still think he's some evil jerk because he wants people who can not afford health care,(often due to the fact that their illnesses prevent them from working enough hours to qualify for health benefits, thus they get sicker, can't work as much, less hours and the spiral continues) then you and I have said all there is to say about this. Congrats to you Igor for doing whatever you can to bring attention to your beliefs!

Nate, I have no doubt Igor is a nice guy but a story about a kid that sits and fishes all day while the rest of us work our butts off to pay for his medical care is a little irritating. Igor, if you want to contribute to the country whose generosity saved your life then do it by finding a way to make a living so you can be generous to others. Sitting on your cooler and wishing to get into politics is no way to serve your new country.

I am an American Citizen; I have a great job; I paid lots of money in Federal and State taxes; I pay for a portion of my health care (my employer picks up the rest, which will end soon if the costs continue to skyrocket); and I do not expect my government to bail me out of anything. I have a large extended family and friends who do the same things. One last point: We all completely agree with our President: WE WANT HEALTH CARE and HEALTH INSURANCE REFORM. So there. Stop your nonsense.
