Sam nouhan.why did u make statement turkia awadar has done more in six to eights weeks as airport director than any in country. Do u think we r fools? Why was this one guy walking around airport from Wayne county who has been indicted? Please stop making such nonsense comments. Any one who wants a position should earn it. Turkia has done nothing of the kind. What had she done that's so magic?

Rejoice, as Ms. Mullen was denied her attempt to receive a Wayne County pension. She claimed 20 years of service based upon eight actual, six bought out on a Ficano deal, and eight more bought out from military service. She only served two years plus six more as a reserve. She wanted credit for serving those reserve years too. She even testified in court that she only had two years of military service. Nobody bought her theory that she deserved a $100K pension from the age of 44.
Turkia may be left with the single option of working.

Who r the ones that allowed this turkia and cronies
To fill these positions aand make a poor county even poorer.? There was little if any accountability. This race track failed. This prison she approved is over budget. It is like these people really were just looking out for themselves and not taxpayers. And the salaries in wWayne county govt were way out of proportion compared to regions of same size. These were ones that were all talk and no efficiency.

One step at a time Kev. At least this little burden of her pension was knocked down. Like Matty Maroun, she always has another legal angle to pursue. Regarding the county generally, much and many have been exposed. Several are on the way to prison. It's going to be more difficult to continue the old ways. If it doesn't happen sooner, the voting citizens will have their way with Ficano, although not in the biblical sense.
